Tactical Cloak-->Chain Overload (4)-->AssaultRifle--> Tactical Cloak with a couple stim packs in case of emergency makes for a character that's almost as 'invincible mode' as Kroguard, without the synch kills to worry about.

did you guys play solo platinum or platinum? he is not overpowered there, and why you want to nerf a good class? is a co-op game!

I find it hilarious how people thought I said the Ghost was OP.

I honestly don't want it nerfed, but that doesn't mean I can't see it coming.

As for those who thought I was ignoring my teammates, they were being swarmed while I tried taking the heat off them. First off, I only use rockets when necessary. Second, trying to revive people within the horde is just stupid and suicidal.

No, I do not have a Lone Wolf banner. Check my HQ. Yes, he is much easier to play than the GI.
Finally, the Collector Rifle is actually fun to use with this class (provided you get it to V and above) when you place AP and EB mods. I started using it more often over my Harrier because this thing has tons of spare ammo.

the turian ghost is probably the toughest character in the game now. havoc soldier following closely behind. both are extremely capable at any range and have extremely good manueveribility (cant spell lol). their jetpacks make moving around big maps like london a breeze

I play more on Platinum, and don't think he's overpower, and he can also be played as a support class, he's the only one that can revive the rest of the team in any situation without dying and ****ing up the match.

This game is co-op, I really don't understand why people like to nerf classes that help on the match, and make the team win. if that's so why don't you nerf the Volus and his ability to restore shields? if you know how to play, him he can be pretty much immortal and make the team immortal too. -.-

Why instead of keeping complaining for classes to be nerfed, don't you ask for older classes to be buffed? like giving the old turians a dodge? that would really help, or maybe improve the drell's resistence? and also buff some old weapons, because most of them are useless on Platinum.

Seriously, invincible character. How is that not overpowered?

Turian Ghost is the noobiest character that BW has added to the multiplayer. Geth Infiltrator is nooby too, but at least has some kind of weakness. But you can have almost no skill and solo Gold with him with no gear. Easily.


what cons? the limits on stim packs (funny how bsn's opinion changed on those, but that's another topic), not being in cloak long cause of the use of ARs, the jetpack (can be a con)...that's what comes to head right off, have to play with him more, and i'll let you know others...

is he strong/good? yes, but he isnt invincible....also, putting the best guns on the majority of characters makes them good....the best thing about him (and other infils) is it lets people play this co-op game like it's a non co-op game....

another  thing i dont get about the bsn: bw gives yall a good character, and people complain cause it might make the game easier for others? that makes no sense....if bw gives a character that doesnt kill everything, people complain....bw gives us a character that does kill everything, people complain.....yall really need to make up yall minds what yall want out this game

Anyway, yes, there are limits on stimpacks, but if you have grenade capacity, even if you never go to an ammo box, you can have up to 49 stimpacks. Using a thermal clip = auto refill to grenade count. And each stimpack is an ops pack in terms of its benefits, actually better, due to its damage boost. Unless you are a terrible player or are playing off-host with ping that makes a mockery of your reaction time, you should never, ever be dropped, bar the occasional Banshee booty call.

Add that to his DPS being near the Geth infiltrator, who until his release, was considered the most powerful class in the game by a very wide margin.

That's why people like me are so against him. Virtually no class has the killing potential of the Ghost, and literally no class has the durability of the Ghost. Total no-skill class that rewards mistakes with freebies.


Also, word of wisdom for people who think the Ghost build with the Harrier is the only OP one:

You've obviously not seen a Ghost with the Reegar, the most broken gun in the game.

i'm from north carolina, so yall will keep being said

the ghost is good, but you're overexaggerating...just like people did with the geth infil...can the character score a bunch of points? sure, but it can also get outscored, easily....it's not the character, it's the person using the character and how they use it...

you just sound like someone that got outscored, and you dont think that should happen...so whatever the person was using mustve been overpowered....so what you got outscored, it's a team game...if you join a lobby and someone is using the ghost, leave...you dont have to play with that person....also, stop trying to ruin others people enjoyment of the game cause you cant top the scoreboard....

The guy is meant for an AR but he is good with any weapon in his hands. I've been working through my weapons challenges with him. Pretty much a perpetual supply of OPs packs with grenade gear and unkillable unless you are reckless or stupid.

You must not forget that hunter mode has been tweak for the Geth Engineer too because of the stupid Geth Infiltrator... In that case, it has hurt a lot more the GE than the GI. Everything is possible.

He is thoroughly exaggerating, the Destroyer W/Revenant and Piranha will always be my go-to character when I want a mix of damage output and survivability.
Or a GI with the same combo if I want raw damage
Or a Havoc with Reegar (Strike, vape, cryo, stim, bail)
Or Drell Adept to clear spawns with nades
Demolisher, same.
Kroguard for survivability without nades

The list goes on... This talk of the Ghost as if he is the next Krysae will likely make him the same.  If the devs don't know how to get you guys to shut up about him, they are going to nerf him obsolete like the Krysae.  You tote your victory, we grumble and find something else for nerfers to whine about.
Its not like Ghosts are saturating lobbies more than any other new effective character when it came out.
Sure this character has awesome power and passive synergy, I am pretty sure that was intended.
Just wait until the Huntress comes out, you all are going to cry foul when you find that tac cloak + Warp + Reegar does some pretty insane damage.  The whole kit must suffer for this exploit apparently.
Some people need to whine, and balance change discussions are the perfect stage to have their voices heard.
