Who says it would be at odds though? They just need to factor in whether you made good choices or bad, but even then, not everything is so black and white; unless you were just an outright dick.

People change. I'm mature enough to accept that my warden might have evolved since I played him.

It's not about what choices you made that matters, but what your motivation for making those choices were.  There's a world of distance between a PC who saves Connor with the Circle mages because they trust Irving can do so and they've already freed the tower, and one who is doing it because they don't want Alistar to be sad.

That's a solution that satisfies no one.

Oh c'mon! Now you're just nitpicking! All of that is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Not really.  If my current PC is going to have a discussion with the former PC, who I more or less had complete control over, the conversation should reflect how that character thought.

No. That's nitpicking. It's been ten plus years!

Imagine talking to yourself from ten years ago. You wouldn't share the same opinions, or maybe you would. I know for me, I was may more of an idealist. Now I'm just happy if I go a day without having to deal with an idiot. :P

And?  That really doesn't have anything to do with the character being simplified down into acting one way or another when there were multiple ways to express yourself.  Unless you want the Warden to be handwaved into thinking one way.

I don't care how they do it, as long as they do it both tastefully and creatively, and with respect to the idea of whether we were a good or bad character. If we saved the boy because of Alastair, or because we wanted to, it doesn't matter. The fact that we did it is what matters. Asking for anything more than that is exactly what makes Bioware roll their eyes and call you an entitled, whiny fan.

The taint may destroy his capacity to talk. Good excuse, isn´t it? ;)

Ha, yeah. I like the helmet idea too. Mostly because then they can avoid the whole, my warden didn't look like that argument.

I would like to see Morrignq again, but part of me quite likes the fact that there are loose ends. Gives us all something to talk about.

Well, sure. But if Flemeth is going to be in it, and Morrigan is going to be in attendance, you really have to wonder if the Warden will be at her side.

I kinda wish they would kill my Warden off while protecting Morrigan and the OGB. They could get ambushed by overwhelming odds that no one could overcome. My Warden could give his life fighting all the odds while Morrigan can get away. My Warden would have closure and it would allow me not to be kinda annoyed when Morrigan shows up later without him.

My 'main' import also has the Warden departing with Morrigan through the mirror. As much as I'd love for them both to return, I'm not going to get my hopes up too high seeing how I was disappointed that neither of them showed up the DA2. I understand all the possible outcomes from the previous DA games can make for a ton of extra content to be developed to cover everything. That said, I hope that Bioware proves me wrong. Done right, DA3 could win back a lot of its fans that have been put off by DA2 and the whole ME3 ending thing.

My thoughts exactly.

There is no post game save in Witch Hunt. So I ask, how do you want to import the decision with the Eluvian?

Ya there is, bioware added one.

I want Morrigan in DA3 because I have always choose to make the god child and I want to see how that plays out, plus I feel like it would be a waste because why even add the god child in the game and make the witch hunt DLC if your not going to do anything with it.  What I worry most about though is my city elf was my warden to roamnce morrigan but I ended up starting the romance with Zevran.  All I did was select the first line of dialouge but I did have the option to say "lets end this" however Morrigan never said anything about it, I was able to romance her, and I was able to go through the mirror with her but when I beat awiakening I got the text card saying my warden went to look for Zevran so I hope that didn't mess anything up.

My Canon Warden also went through the Eluvian with Morrigan and while I would absolutely love to see them again or even simply hear about how they're working together behind the scenes, I just don't think it's feasible and, after seeing what they did to Revan, I' not sure I want to.
So, rather than seeing the Warden again, I'd settle for playing a DA game that happened 20 or so years after the Fifth Blight where the OGB is a companion. That way, he can tell the player through banter what happened to the Warden.
For instance, if your Warden was a Cousland who went through the Eluvian, he could say something like this in Val Royeaux:
"Dad once told me a drunk orlesian noble mistook grandfather Bryce for King Cailan. He never did told me what happened to them on the onset of the Blight. I guess some wounds never heal properly."

It seems that a lot of people thinks that Morrigan's story is over and it's time to move on.

Yeah right.

Move where?

To another half-baked, unfinished plot, which ends in a cliffhanger with the words :: NEVER TO BE CONTINUED :: written between the lines in the credits?

Well, not with my money. If EA/Bioware does not start picking up on the loose ends, and end some of the plotlines, DA3 can sail it's own sea for all I care.

Do you have the Auto-Save option off? You need it On.

Yes, I have it off.  Thx, I didn't know that.

Is it the same for Awakening?

No, in Awakening there isn't any important decision after the Warden-Commander speaks with the Architect, a point at which you can still save manually. The Mother always dies so, Bioware didn't bother to add a post game save.
