I like Castles. Upgradeable money-sink Castles that can be outfitted to suit your Inquisitor's personality type/backstory/class. A bit of a meanie-pants? Have a torture chamber. The Religious type? An altar to the Maker and a priest to sing the Chant. Magically inclined? Ooh, a lab would be nice, and a library, along with an apprentice mage or two to make potions. Or hey, all of the above just in case we ever find the need ... I did like the strongholds in NWN2 and BG2 which started off as ruins and the PC had to restore them to glory throughout the game.
Being able to choose decor would also be cool - Maybe a touch of Tevinter militarism or Orlesian panache. Or just having the whole place a bit brown and smelling of wet dog for those still suffering from Warden withdrawal!
Rooms for companions, yes please. Staff, including a seneschal and a couple of merchants. Upgradeable combat/defence as in Vigil's Keep - as well as enemies to defend it from - and quests for your vassals or whatever.
Secret bits to explore and get side quests from.
This is all sounding too exciting. I think I need to prepare myself for disappointment, like it turns out everyone misheard and we're not getting a castle, we're getting a cabin ...
