I'm currently deciding whether or not to purchase one of the Dark Horse Normandy replicas, but there's something I'd like to know before I choose.

I know that there were a lot of people disappointed with the quality of the paint job at the time it came out, specifically with the Alliance model, which is exactly the one I'd prefer to own. Since most of those comments I've read are a year old and I can't seem to find any up-to-date impressions of the product, I was wondering if the newer batches are of a higher quality?

I don't particularly want to shell out for the Cerberus model but if the Alliance one is still shoddy, I may bite and order the limited silver edition.

Thanks.

The Alliance model I purchased about five months ago looks very good. It is by far better than the pictures I have seen some people posting of the low quality ones.

The Cerberus model is also very good and the one I prefer between the two.

While I don't own the Alliance/Cerberus versions I did pick up the silver edition from TFAW a few months back at a nice price and I'm very happy with it. Not the biggest of replicas but very solid and no complaints about the finish.

I've got the Alliance version (x2) and ithey're not great, the paint job on one of mine is a bit rubbish but not as bad as some I've seen. The one I got with my Italian exclusive Alliance Edition has the nose broke off, they are quite fragile.

That being said I'd love the silver and bronze ones.
