Where did you find all this concept art? I've been reading threads on the BSN the whole day and I haven't come across them until now. I also read somwhere that they had released screenshots of DA3, but I haven't come across them either. Could someone give me some directions?

i am so in love with CASTLE. every time i see the concept art or notice the slightest mention of it, i get goosebumps. so far, i've had a camp, a fortress, and a mansion. but never something anywhere close to as wondrous as an actual palace. it looks gorgeous and i WANT it. i reeeeeeeealy hope that the hints that we might get to nab it are actually true.

Concept arts don't mean much. They're hardly ever like the final product.

True but.... at least it gives as an ideal of where they're head it is at and what we might be see in game it's like a movie trailer not every bit that's in the trailer but it still helps you decide if the movie is going to be good or not take it for what it is which is a small glimpse through a window of what it might be like

Bethany and Carver's outfit shows that the warden could be involved somehow. I don't know why they would interfere with the business between the templars and mages since they need to remain neutral in case of another blight.

Perhaps a greater evil is pulling strings behind the war and the Wardens suspect it has something to do with Darkspawn?

Much of the Old Gods is still shrouded in mystery.

And weren't they all on special searching business in Kirkwall b/c of Hawke's super special Expedition and crazy lyrium.

I'm not even sure the "Inquisitor" is linked to the chantry at all.

Authority's gotta come from somewhere.

Could you even call the Chantry "authoirty" anymore? No one is listening to them (neither mages nor templars), and even if you do end up working for the Chantry, there's plenty of other reasons to do it

Does no one appreciate classic blackmail anymore, a.la. "On the Loose" if you try to refuse Meredith's quest?

If you said "Forget it," and you were a mage, she'd "remind" you she can put you in the Gallows if she orders it. If your sister is in the Circle, she threatens her safety, and there are others.....

Ah, but the Inquisition originally was not part of the Chantry, though they did become the Templars and the Seekers of Truth after joining.

[*Spoiler alert*] In Asunder, the treaty that united their order with the Chantry, the Nevarran Accord, was broken and now, I suppose, it's unsure who's working for whom?

It would be interesting to have the option, as the protagonist, to either align oneself with the Chantry or to be independent.

Gah, I still don't like the new elven aravel designs. They don't look very functional.

They're definately something I'd call 'Land ships' now instead of wagons.

...

...so... that's something?

I do like the "grand" theme with these concept arts.

The vistas and ruins.

The castle's probably in the Frostbacks, or some other southern mountain range. I wonder what faction uses red and white?

I don't know. The castle kind of reminds me of Weisshaupt, the Grey Warden's Fortress. It probably isn't, but you never know. I suppose that it is a lot more likely to be the rumored castle for the protagonist.

That was my guess too, im guessing its in the Anderfels. The protagonists castle also makes sense though as well.

The jungle picture reminds me of a tropical land, so my guess is Rivian ruins or maybe Seheron/Par Vollen. As for the plains...maybe Orlais or Free Marches?

Around Starkhaven and Nevarra is supposed to be Thedas's breadbasket so... that would make some sense.

For me the first picture does look like an Elven encampment. Possibly back in Ferelden or Sundermount. The Second one with the Warden in it reminded me of Dragon Bone Waste from DAA and WH. The Third - of the Castle - reminds me of the place that Rhys, Cole, Wynne, and The Templar went to in the book Asunder. It could also be the new PC's castle that we keep hearing about. The castle looks amazing and so does the one with the Warden in it.

and there was an image that looked like it may have been Sebastians castle...which might make Starkhaven a good locale in-game.

to be honest though, I hope they don't go everywhere, that would be a bit too encompassing as a game...plus then we have no mystery for other games in the series,if that makes sense.

Second one reminded me of those ruins from Nature of the Beast, Dalish Origin and Witch Hunt. Maybe we'll fin out about the mystery behind those (elves living in caves, the mixture of human and elven stuff, plus whatever that "mage-in-a-bottle" was talking about)
