Hahaha you people are kidding, right? Collectors are easily my favourite faction, and no, I'm not being sarcastic. They're far more intelligent than other factions, which is good.

Relatively speaking, they are harder (on bronze) than other races.  However, I'm not calling for a nerf.  Maybe the other races should be made more difficult, to match the Collectors.

If a Bronze Scion has more armored health and better damage than a Gold Brute, then yes I think the Bronze and Silver difficulty Collectors need another going over.

The only change they need to to make those stupid seeker swarms easier to kill. They should have like half as much health as they currently do.

The seeker swarms go down easily when Tech Armor is detonated.  Other than that, yeah, they are pretty much hard to kill thanks to their buzzing around.

...what? You might as well say that since a Bronze Praetorian has more health than a Gold Dragoon they need to look at the difficulty levels. Brute =/= Scion. At all.

Actually, this I agree with. I can't think of a single standard power that can OHK them. They pretty much all do about half damage, which is fairly pitiful.

Two different things entirely. May have had some merit if I compared the Scion to another mook.

I didn't have any issues with the Collectors. Then again, I only played on Silver. Not Gold or Platinum.

I actually found them quite easy.

Could be my weapons though. I had an X weapon when I did the match.

My only problem with collectors is the fact that a Scion can kill me in three shots while I am a Krogan Vanguard in Silver... There is something weird with that!

It's pretty riddicilous for sure. It's the same problem as with the Geth Bomber. They just take too many damn hits.

I don't think it's fair for new players to be going up against bronze collectors

I had 80% shields and full health bar on my Vanguard, I got oneshotted by scion's last shot (was hosting). It's like their attacks do % damage, instead of numerical values.

My point was more that Scions and Brutes fill completely different roles, so the comparison doesn't really work. You can, however, compare them to Ravagers.

Note that I'm not trying to say Collectors are perfect and don't need tweaks, I just don't see why everyone thinks they're so hard.

I've always thought that too, it's odd.

Brute is the lesser boss of the Reapers and has strong armor. Scion is the lesser boss of the Collectors and has strong armor. Good comparison.

Praetorian is the boss of the Collectors... Dragoon is a mook unit. Bad comparison.

Would you rather that someone point out that Praetorians are far stronger, faster, resiliant than an Atlas in every way? Or perhaps sync kill in more annoying ways than a Banshee? Or how about that they can stunlock you worse than a Prime at close range?

Yes, but you can avoid all of their attacks easily. You can't say the same about Atlas and their homing attacks.

That's too vague. The Brute is melee only, the Scion barely moves and has an arm canon like a Ravager, Prime, or Atlas. The Scion is about 75% Ravager - 25% Brute, so think about it accordingly.

Bronze Brute - 6000 armor
Bronze Ravager - 3600 armor
Bronze Scion - 7500 armor ---> 11250 armor / 1125 barrier (possessed)

More like a Scion = Brute + Ravager, it is by comparison it's own boss-level character, thus making the Collectors the only faction with 2 boss characters on the board at one time, probably at a reduced budgetary cost for the wave mechanics.

For comparisons sake:
Bronze Atlas - 9000 armor / 7500 shields
Bronze Phantom - 700 health / 1050 barrier
Bronze Banshee - 7500 armor / 4500 barrier
Bronze Prime - 7500 armor / 5250 shields
Bronze Praetorian - 9700 armor / 7000 barrier ---> 15520 armor / 7000 barrier (possessed)

Statement is fair. Collectors make other classes look weak, especially their supposed makers, the Reapers.

I'm convinced Possessed Praetorians on Gold are nearly immortal and on Platinum just are straight up Immortal and THEY can single handedly bring down Sovereign class Reapers...

Nope. They are OP on Bronze and Silver.

It's true. They feel a lot harder then the other factions on lower difficulties. IMO it's about spawns: it looks like they used a spawn rate similar to Reapers, but every collector unit is a lot stronger than their reaper counterpart.
The strange thing is that they don't feel OP in gold...

I had a match earlier as a vorcha soldier, glacier/collectors/gold. It was one of the easiest collector matches I've had, they don't seem to like acolyes and fire much.

You'd figure Darth Krayt could put up a better fight than that.
But yeah, Collectors are pretty absurd and I imagine many of their mechanics transcend skill level such that they're disproportiantely challenging to n00bz more casual players.
