As a PS3 player, the biggest threat I have from the Collectors is screen freeze.  It's those damn Scions!

Collectors are OP if there's even a second of lag. Detonations still don't do correct damage to the Collectors even when there isn't lag, so there's that too. And then there's the magic possessed swarmer that spawns in the empty air you just ran past... the second you get ready to take down a possessed captain...

Not as cheesy as the Geth but pretty darned close.

That ninja Collector web is real killer...

The other day I was playing Bat-adept against Collector/reactor hazard.
I was at the LZ trying to avoid Praetorian that was following me...

jumped down the ladder...
Abomination hit me -> got grabbed -> Out of no where collector web surrounds me -> abomination let me go -> I kill abomination -> but cannot move due to collector web -> Epic Laser blast from upstair Paretorian finished me off like a boss.

I felt really violated on that one.
