 I think as a nice side quest or tease, it would be awesome if your Hawke and your Warden needed your help on one of their own personal quests. I think this would be a lot more interactive then a cameo as well fun and engaging, they guide you through tunnels and help you to defeat countless waves of enemies using talents you purchased for them in the previous games.

It would also be nice if the Warden and Hawke are shown with their romance, for example my Warden and Leliana and my Hawke and Isabella.

Personally, no, I don't want that. Would be nice to have some kind of answer to where the Warden and Hawke went (since BW clearly have something in mind), but having two previous PCs appear as NPCs for an extended period would just be... well, weird. Not unsurpassably so I suppose, but perhaps a bit contrived.

I don't want to see them, the Warden was *MY* character and yours too, Bioware can in no way satisfy everyone properly.
At least I don't want her to be "gone" just let characters say "no one has seen her since.."

Hawke was biowares character, they can do with her what they want as long as they acknowledge the few choises I had with her.

This. I want to know what happened to them, but I would hate to see my Warden and Hawke. Though, if anyone will make a cameo, it'll be Hawke. I think there's just way too many variables for the Warden.

The warden will no doubt by the time of DA 3 if not by its end be on his or hers calling into the deep roads prehaps he will attempt to slay the sleeping old gods.

As for Hawke no doubt he left beacuse of the Mage templar war makeing it difficult for him to remain in Kirkwall.

A story about them would be nice, perhaps Sandal and Bodhan can tell you what they 'heard'
on the road. May be they heard someone matching Hawke and his love interest description on a ship.
Or on top of snowy mountain, or even playing golf together. Or maybe they heard someone
matching the Warden and Morrigan description Fighting a Colossal monster somewhere, or
busy doing sidequests for their child future 'college life' or something.

Just a story, but to actually meeting them? well ....

My Warden is very dead, but it might be nice to see Hawkes story come to an epic end.

I wouldn't want to get a side quest with them. They can be mentioned, but I don't want them to appear since I just know that it will go wrong.

As for the reason why both Hawke and the Warden were gone. I think its interesting to mention that so far every person that owns something to Flemeth dissapears. Might be a connection there.

I don;t want to see them. I can learn what happened to them without seeing them. Maybe even their LI can appear (for whatever reason) but otherwise, no. 

Also, since everyone is talking about Grey Wardens being all tainted and having to go on a Calling, wouldn't that allso apply to Alistair (if alive) and Anders (if alive)? Its been ten years for Alistair, and more than 7 for Anders (I know, some people never recruited him, but Bioware said "too bad").

I would love to see my Wardens tomb in Weissaupt. I want that more than anything. A cameo of my Hawke would be nice, though, I suppose since I couldn't t kill her. >.>

About people saying the Warden and his/her Calling.

Wardens live about 30 years after the take the Joining. It has only been only about 10 years (assuming DA3 will take place around the same time as Cassandra's interrogation of Varric) since Ostagar where our Warden took the Joining. The Warden still has approximately 20 years left before he/she will go on their Calling.

It wouldnt bother me, as long as the warden does not start talking or anything...not worried what they do with Hawke.

Wouldn't bother me in seeing my Wardens and My Hawkes. I'd love to have a quest from them. A nice big long quest. I think it would be cool. My dead Warden, yeah, his/her tomb at Warden HQ would be cool also.
