Yes I know, nothing special about that anymore at all, not with the Krogan Reegarmaster around, but I had to say it:

I did my first Gold solo run with my Kishock-wielding Geth Infiltrator, and succeeded!

I did Vancouver for the sake of it's spacyness, and lots of cover, and it comes with a lot of free Husks. I did Reapers, because they're the easiest faction now, and I hate Geth stunlocking bullcrap.
Round 3 was pizza delivery, both packages relatively close to LZ, no problems here
Round 6 was hack objective in the 'office' part. Had to make a run 3 times to complete it, but no real problem here too...
Round 10 was kill objective (Banshee). Here I got distracted by some 'outside influences' (no not alcohol or drugs!), which made me miss my first two Cobra launches, and had me die-and-medigel three times. Luckily the second Banshee kill also caught a Brute, which made the last two kills Brutes, first was missiled, the next one I was out, so I had to do it the old fashioned way. But since all the Kishock buffs that wasn't really a problem.
So extraction was just waiting at the other end of the map and just skirting around, and finally ran around the extraction circle, being hit by a Banshee Warp Ball in the last 2 seconds, but as my health was slowly declining, the relieving completion message came... phew....

TL;DR, as well as pics or it didn't happen:

Yes it took me 80 minutes, because I was trying to make as much Husk kills as possible in the earlier waves...

Congrats! But a gps would have made your job much essier esp with the husks. The kishock must have been fun though, I am uet to use it post buff.

Thanks, Kishock is one of the more pleasant surprises doing the mastery challenges, all the buffs really did the gun good! The husks weren't much of a problem, but with the GPS it would have been easier to hit them ofcourse. Kishock is also one of the few snipers which doesn't suffer from hipfire penalty.

Congrats.
I spent almost the same time (74 min), just a few days ago, soloing gold with the same Geth Infiltrator, facing the Reapers, but using a Geth Pulse Rifle. It was painful...

A Geth Pulse Rifle? I would have loved to see that! How long did it take to kill a Banshee with it? It must have been a real challenge though!

Good job! Better than mine... I cheated (Glacier, Geth, Kroguard, Reegar). But, to be fair, I wanted to know if it actually worked! Then I repeated it, to see if I can replicate the results!

The GPR if solo, IMHO is best on something that will allow you to create fire explosions.....it took me a lot of games for the AR challange using the Destroyer spec'd for ROF in team games, mainly when it came to a boss type

I almost spent all my time running away from Banshees. Since they were the last enemies I faced per wave, I just had to deal with two of them.

And yes, I used incendiary ammo IV, and a lot fire explosions with proximity mine.

About the build, nothing new: 6 TC (duration, recharge and sniper damage), 5 Proximity Mine (radius, slow), 6 Hunter Mod (Weapon, RoF, Speed and Vision), 6 Networked (all weapon damage) and three points in advanced hardware.

Reason I did that? I just love to use weapons with RPG purposes: Wraith and Raider with Batarians; Acolyte and Disciple with Asaris; Arc Pistol and Reegar with Quarians; Javelin, GPS, GPSMG and GPR with Geth; Hornet and Talon with Ex-Cerberus Adept; Striker, Graal and Claymore with Krogans; Scorpion with my Salarian Engineer; Piranha, Hurricane and Typhon with the Destroyer. The only classes I don't care it and can't do this are the Turians...

Hey congrats! I'd be proud too- I'm too scared. I will probably post if/whenever I manage to do this because I'll be so damned proud! (and then I'll never do it again lol).

Congrats! I solo'd my first gold match (Friday) on Giant against the Reapers and the mission took 73 minutes so don't feel bad. You're well on your way to the Lone Wolf banner!

Did the same actually, just 1 or 2 Banshees aren't all that difficult to deal with, but it can be quite frustrating when you're trying to kill them and get downed by a sneaky Marauder or a Ravager. I just killed all other enemies until they stopped respawning, especially Husks (which took a looong time), and then took care of the Banshee(s), making sure they won't respawn as well.

And yes, I used incendiary ammo IV, and a lot fire explosions with proximity mine.

Same here again, the extra Damage over Time from both the Kishock and Ammo also proved to be a life saver, and allowed me to kill a lot of the smaller guys with one uncharged shot.

About the build, nothing new: 6 TC (duration, recharge and sniper damage), 5 Proximity Mine (radius, slow), 6 Hunter Mod (Weapon, RoF, Speed and Vision), 6 Networked (all weapon damage) and three points in advanced hardware.

Also used the 6/5/6/6/3 build, but specced Hunter mode for Power Recharge & Damage, and Weapon damage. I normally use a Javelin X with this build, but it seemed sufficient for the Kishock as well, although it might be wiser to change the last evolution to Speed&Vision in this case (was out of respec cards...)

But for gear I used a Stronghold Package V along with a Cyclonic Modulator IV. This allowed me to survive one Banshee or Ravager blast and still have shields until the DoT wears out, even with Hunter Vision enabled. And so glad I did this!
