 I decided the make a new thread since that one is 6 months old. So, I hate origin, its a stupid piece of software that works 30% of the time as it should. Why so little? Because the only thing I use on origin is ME3, and not bėcause I wanted to, I was forced to use that horrible parody of Steam. Why would anyone use origin? The games there are much more expensive then other sites if you search a little and the selection of games is miniscule in comparison to Steam. Die origin, just die. Youre a bad joke.

The auto patching system has been a constant headache for me. It is slow, unpredictable and it doesnt work. EA, or Bioware, please, there were zero problems with just downloading the sodden patch from this site and applying it. So why in the flipping hell this option doesnt exist anymore. Just a nice rar file for all of us to download, so that we dont have to deal with that thing. Nobody thinks that origin was a good idea. Nobody. 

Ok done with that.

Back to the problem. Origin wont download the latest patch. It searches for an update, then gives me the finger and says there was an error downloading the patch. Nice. It might be because of my internet connection (The ISP is my university, and I share the connection through a router with my roommate), but steam patches and downloads my games just fine. no problems. As apple****s would say- it just works. Origins doesnt work. It downloaded and installed the latest weapons pack, which is strange. 

So, what i want is:
1) some reassurrence that EA is working day and night to fix origin, or better, kill it.
2) somone could please upload the files which are updated
3)go back to good old days, and let me download the patch myself (this of course will never happen, but hey)

I had similar problem with the latest patch and DLC. If can be fixed (assuming you have same problem) by installing an old version of Origin and launching it with a /noupdate command. Origin version 8.5.2.23 should work. The tough part is to find an older 'full' version of Origin, the replacement files of 8.5.2.23 are easilly found. Idea is to used older version of Origin, update game, donload DLC and then update Origin to the latest version.

Bioware, do you actually like and support that piece of doodoo? Look at how crap it is. This is what we have to go through so that our bloody games would get updated. But hey, the old way of downloading a patch manually is just way too much 2011. The future is now, the future is origin, the future sucks.

Update: Origin has had an update. No, folks, no, its not the update that uninstalls the bloody thing and EA sends you an apology for creating the thing. It was just an update of something. Nothing really, since it still will not update my copy of ME3. DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE! Expire.

To be honest im not that pissed, since ME3 isnt that great of a game to start with, it just annoys me that EA is so utterly incompetent.

Appearantly Origin is not only retarded, its also paranoid. Advice to everyone who has problems with downloads with origin- download a program called Hotspot Shield. Works like a charm.

OK, now this is getting fu**ing moronic. I was able to update my ME3. Yay for only so long. Now the piece of **** says that origin is no longer running and therefore ME3 must be closed....... .... ......... yeaa............ My dissapointment with Orgin cannot be measured. It is such a stupid piece of software that it must be intentional. The people at Origin must be doing this on purpose. I mean ****ing really? THE BLOODY THING IS RUNNING RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES AND THEN IT REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE ITSELF!!! ORIGIN IS A FU**ING PIECE OF **** AND IT NEEDS TO BE KILLLED LIKE A RACE HORSE WITH NO LEGS!!!


I want my fu**ing money back... But since I ordered my copy from the French, thats not going to happen and im just going to be left with playing Skyrim. Which is on Steam. Which works very well. And Origin is doing the opposite.

I fixed it! How in bloody hell did i do that? I used a crack, because it bypasses Orgin AND LETS ME PLAY THE BLASTED GAME, WHICH KINDA IS THE MAIN PURPOSE OF IT, not to be a ****ing excuse for the existence of origin on my PC.

When that hell with Origin gets fixed, then i will remove the crack and play it online.
