Pretty much every gun sucks at level 1 - at X, it's awesome, especially on the class it was (apparently) designed for; the Destroyer.

I've it lvl 8, it's a good weapon that doesn't need a buff. In platinium with a good lvl 4 ammo consumable you kill the boss (Atlas, banshee...) very quickly.

haha, try convincing my lvl 10 geth pulse rifle in short terms it sucks, worst gun in the game, and also i think the typhoon could use a damage buff

It's not awful but the nerf put it below the Harrier, and as a result it could use some tweaking. A small damage buff would be nice. I have mine at a decent level (VI) and can simply do better with other guns, even on the Destroyer.

PPR is better, and when you need damage right away here is Harrier.
Useless weapon.

Apparently your definition of the word 'useless' is at great odds with the definition used by the rest of the world.

Sure I can rock with it on silver better than with Geth Pulse Rifle.

Anyone saying it's useless and terrible are doing it wrong. It's not as good as the PPR, but with the EB and AP mods, it melts armored targets away.

OP what are you talking about? The typhoon is very powerful at lvl 2 even on gold. With no consumables. Usually kills mooks in less than a second and just tears praetorians apart.
