The widow , black widow and javelin have natural armor piercing abilities. You can apply this devastating effect to other weapons using the correct ammo mod.

Like a mattock or a claymore?

- You can prevent an Abomination from sploding by removing its head (smash it, slice it, etc..)
- Unless you can decap an Abomination, don't over-cover-grab it.
- If someone's being molested by an Abomination, and you can't Throw it off or anything similar, look embarrassed the other way, and let them deal with it (you might feel an overpowering sense of guilt though).
- You can quickly finish the pizza delivery by sprinting over the package and spamming your pickup button while looking slightly to the floor (I'm on PC).

Grabbing enemies from cover provides the user with invulnerability frames for the duration of the grab from incoming hostile fire. I'm not sure if it also protects you from an incoming sync kill though....

As Vanguard you can charge a brute the moment it charges you, to prevent going down. The timing is relatively uncomplicated, the Brute, though will take no damage from your charge, its only to trade places, or to pass a tunnel/route that is blocked by it.
The Shadow Strike works exactly the same with the added benefit of the brute taking the shadow strike hit damage.

Sometimes enemies get stuck in mid-air on Firebase Reactor when they spawn from the ceiling. Rockets, weapons, and most powers don't work on them. If one of you is a Fury, you're in luck, no need to abandon the game. Use dark channel and annihilation field to kill the bastards.

I also encountered this bug before. A centurion and a Nemesis are stuck in mid-air with the Nemesis standing on top of the Centurion. Firing directly at them didn't work, I tried the multi-frag on the beam where they jump from and they got some damage, so I used up all my grenades and we were able to continue the match. Too bad for one teammate who quit before I did that. That was wave 6 if I remember correctly. So if you encounter this, next time try shooting where they jump from and see if they get some damage.

Reave, overload and warp effect bubble work also. Energy drain might work, but haven't tested it.

Alas I am bored so I thought I would share some knowledge that I learned along the way.

- If doing the destroyer particle rifle build, don't use rate of fire or accuracy as they don't matter.

- Looking to increase your chances of getting a elusive gun? Save up money then delete dlc that are not a part of it.

- Rocketing the first target in platinum only chaneges the enemy if you are fighting Cerberus and there are too many atli on the field, it will be a raverger *tested*

- Learn reload cancel, tap an action button as soon as the thermal clip hits the chamber, you will cancel the pull back. obviously works best with single shot guns but works with all.

-To my farmer brothers I believe hydra Cerberus to be the new farm central, personal preference of coarse.

These tips are mostly for platinum if anyone else has other ideas by all means post them.

How do I delete DLCs on PC?

Ravages can't hurt you at point blank range, flames to the face using a vorcha is big fun since they quite often appear in pairs you can string together mucho ravager and insect kills.

Not entirely accurate, if they have their sacs intact when you get into melee range they'll burst them and hit you with very nasty DoT as well as sicking all their swarmers on you at once. It's painful if you're not a Krogan or Vorcha. An easy solution, however, is to shoot out their sacs before getting into melee range.

Some tricks for using the Crusader: It has "aim lag" meaning that it will always hit where you were aiming a fraction of a second before you pulled the trigger. This behavior makes it very hard to hit moving targets with, but like the Javelin's firing delay merely requires a bit of learning. Typically it's best to fire a projectile power at the enemy as it will either stagger them letting you line up a shot or cause them to roll and remain stationary long enough to hit them.

1. Revives can be done from a couple feet away, and through cover like corners and such. So if you can revive someone from safety instead of marching out to present whatever killed your ally with a tasty new target, do it.

2. Diagonal rolls of some human characters can be instantly followed by another roll of another direction. In other words, if you want to diagonally back-left roll, you can then immediately diagonally back-right roll coming out of it. This means you can diagonally back roll a quick and sizable difference all at once, and end with a roll to the side. It's very useful for getting some evasive distance quickly.

3. If you Sabotage a Turret and someone else then immediately kills it, don't feel indignant about it. The instant your Sabotage wears out that thing goes back to being a nightmarish death machine. Your Sabotage still shut it up for long enough to kill, and that should be enough for you.

4. The ability to pierce cover is extremely handy on several maps; never underestimate it. In Firebase Glacier, for example, you can, with piercing capabilities, fire straight through the big window on the second floor into the cargo room thingy, and vice-versa. Lots of regularly-used cover is thin enough to damage enemies and force them to pop their heads up (handy for staggering those slippery Cerberus snipers).

5. Even considering all these new stupid challenge things, kill stealing really isn't a big deal, except for Vorcha. If you're playing with Vorcha, for heaven's sake, don't steal their kills out from under their noses. They're certainly not going to do any good to YOU when they're dead from not having enough kill stacks.

You can mailslot guardians with any shotgun provided you aim the centre of the reticle slightly above the slot. This isn't normally necessary due to the armour piercing mod, but it takes care of the weaknesses of the GPS and the Graal.

You can reload cancel on the Xbox just by tapping A. If you have a dodge, though, you need to not push on the analogue stick for this to work.

Volus allow Slayers to ascend to a higher plane of existence.

You can speed up pizza delivery with Krogans by spamming melee, or heavy melee. Spamming regular melee is a little more controllable.

A Volus following a melee Krogan around is the greatest duo of all time! Hilarity will ensue! Like George & Lenny, but without all the dead rabbits and a bullet to the back of the head...

Reegar can be reloaded during the animations of certain skills when emptied before using said skills.

(Reegar then using flamer the moment before the reegar hits 0, might not work on host/might require more timing on host)
It should also work with biotic charge and havoc strike. But i'm unsure if it still does. (used to before they changed it)

I believe i've done it a few times as well while using Vorcha's dodge, but I haven't confirmed that.

Dont use the ammo mod on the harrier. It just decreases your spare ammo count a lot while only giving you about 10 extra rounds.

I just tested my Harrier III

The Atlas can grab you over low cover. Not sure if this is well known or not but I recently found this out on a platinum solo attempt and was infuriated.

The in the brief moment when the turian havoc hovers preparing for havoc strike, he is invulnerable. If timed well, can avoid taking any damage from atlas missile, praetorian/PP beams/missiles, and banshee warp.
