Okay when the answer to this question appears it's bound to make me look clueless, but I don't care, I'm thoroughly bemused.

Got the game on Steam, check.
Bought 800 Bioware points, check.
Want to buy the Warden's Thingybob DLC, stuck. All I seem to be able to do is buy points.

Do I actually have to have started playing the game or something? I was hoping to get it all DLC'd and modded up before I start.

Any help much appreciated. ;)

Ahhh never mind. Found the little button thing with the explanation on the side of the website. This whole process probably would have been much easier for me if I'd actually fired the game up before attempting to add things to it. D'oh. :D

Yeah, you get the points for use ingame if you login (with the same account you bought the points for) iirc to buy the stuff with.

Hmm. Have bought the points, redeemed my codes and basically done everything asked. However two problems have occurred. Firstly it's not telling me that the Stone Prisoner is unlocked. Secondly having bought the Warden's Keep on that screen it wouldn't download and then, when I left the game thinking to restart it (turning things off and on cures most things) the points were gone, but so was the evidence that the download had been bought.

According to my profile on this site all that content should be unlocked for me, so I'm wondering if, even when I'm logged into DAO with the same email account, they are not talking to each other.

There are actual Bioware employees watching thw Web Site's Help Forum, and that isn't nearly so true in here. Your problem certainly seems to be due to the buggy and defective design of the web site's distribution scheme, so why not ask for this to be moved to there?

I think all should be fixed momentarily, I'm doing the old fashioned thing of talking to the tech support bod about it. Seems like this is the recommended fix according to the various posts on the subject. I'd have been more thorough with the searching around before I posted but I needed the info NOW, because I'm an impatient modern man, dogdamnit. :D

Thanks for the help though guys, happy new beers. :)
