He...survives?!

Just finishing up another play through with Mother Petrice as Hawkes LI.. Ahem anyway, killed Anders fir the first time in a long while, and from the cut scene.. He clearly didn't die..

So who thinks he will return and be a bigger pain in the ass in DA3? Seems he lives regardless, so guess out Independent mage faction has its fanatic rebel leader.

I don't think he will return even if he survives, his role was finished in the end of DA2.

Besides, he won't be the rebellions leader, too many mages hate his decition, I'm fairly sure Rhys will lead it if he survives Asunder.

Hard to say. I tended to rivalry him and convince him to anull the Circle [since he wasn't in his right mind for 90% of act 3.] and the end dialogue made it pretty clear that he intended to commit suicide in the hopes of freeing both himself and his friend Justice.

Rhys [that's Wynne's son] will be leading the Mages. I imagine Anders will probably be a hermit, he can't be important to the plot since he got murder knife.

Support murder knife mayhem in DA3.

My theory has been that Vengeance will pull a Harbinger and Assume Direct Control over Anders' body and become the 'big bad' of DA3

either that or Divine Justinia is the 'big bad'

Didn't they already bring him back to life after Awakening? David Gaider already came out and said he's finished with Anders and he'll stay dead in DA2.

That's evil, man. He didn't deserve it.

He did, in my opinion. And regardless, in my playthrough he was a little more than a puppet at the point. I honored his memory by defending the mages he cared so much about.

I'd call him Vengeance, It's not Justice anymore.

So here are the outcomes (I believe). You either kill him, runaway with him, or he goes to commit suicide. All options kind of lead me to believe he won't return, maybe he'll be mentioned if he ranaway with Hawke.

I would almost pay to see a Pride demon take over someone while yelling "I will direct this personally!" or something similar...
On the other hand, I'm quite a fan of Harby, so...

That would be epic. They need to get Harbinger's VA to be the VA for Vengeance

Anders better not show up in DA3:I, I always murder knife him, now if Vengeance is just using his body like he used Kristof's and it's not Anders, then I would not care. But Anders better not return to life.

If Vengeance ever meets my pc in a future title it'll have to change it's name to Emasculated afterward.
