Should the default Inquisitor be a rogue?

It would honestly fit, and wouldn't have everyone bothered by a default.

I agree. Both need stronger representation, but I wager Biowares marketing department won't risk an aversion to the typical male consumer.DarkKnightHolmes wrote...
Yes and, hopefully, female.

I like being the odd person on games as well. Like in Skyrim I am never a nord. So I know what you meanAndrahilAdrian wrote...
I'm being a female rogue, so I don't want that to be the default character. My character must not be mainsteam.

Its nice for it to feel like your character, and your game. You lose that personalized touch if your character is too close to default.garrusfan1 wrote...

;Leaked info is tricky and unreliable...
Mass Effect 3's entire plot as well as the contents of all its SP and MP DLC have been leaked prior to the official announcement. Likewise, there were leaks for DA 2 and its DLCs.
BioWare leaks tend to be reliable. We know the survey isn't completely accurate, but I'd bet it's more right than not.

I thought the announcement summary did mention an Inquisitor PC?Masha Potato wrote...
"Inquisition" doesn't mean you'll be playing as an inquisitor though. Like, you didn't play as Originator in Origins

That's probably why we should be able to make a character of any race/class combo for the multiplayer, for that personal touchAndrahilAdrian wrote...

Either a female rogue, or live up to Dragon Age being about Thedas and not have protagonist-centric trailers.

This.
But It would be nice if like ME3, there was both a default female and male on cases and trailers.
Although for Trailers etc, I think Inquisitor should be all 3..
Sword in one hand, crossbow in the other and protected by the Divine light of the Maker.

I've never really cared what's advertised in the marketing, personally.
Never thought I would agree with an eldritch abomination.
Seriously, the brouhaha about how canon!PC looks/male or female/ ecc. always leaves me puzzled.
Who cares what he/she looks like in a 30-seconds trailer or in the box art, as long as I can fully customize him?

The point is that sometimes it's right, and sometimes it's just misinformation. ME3 leaks had a lot of stuff that was changed in the end product, and there was also a "leak" about Kajhe mission that didn't even make it to final release.
And DA2 plot details were deduced from the actual files contained in the demo and later from peopel who got the game early (i have no idea about DLCs though), so i'd argue that those are leaks of different nature than the info about DA3 PC being an inquisitor.
