solo platinum medals are pretty much a hack/cheat filter for Bioware.

Even Lone Wolfs can die. Can we solo stuffs? Sure! It's actually EASIER to solo gold than it is to run with a team in some cases.

Lord Chun, I guess you missed the whole part where a Lone Wolf, on at least one occasion, played an entire platinum game by himself or at least two gold games by himself. Frankly, I'd kind of have to expect someone with a Lone Wolf banner playing as a salarian infiltrator against the geth to be able to solo one wave that he already had help on.

With that class, I'm unsure why he couldn't solo it.
Either way, just because someone has a Lone Wolf title, it doesn't mean they can solo whenever, wherever. For example, if I'm any sort of infiltrator with a semi-decent weapon, I could solo on anything up to platinum. But if I'm something like a sentinel or engineer (save for the demolisher), I'd probably go down regardless. Even a "Lone Wolf" has to prepare, and I doubt they'd use a build and/or gear appropriate for soloing when they're playing with a team.

Thats fine and all, but tc said it was wave 9 against multiple geth bombers and hunters, 1 just 1,

I will defend that Lone Wolf because I know from my own experience that is not the same where there is a team than when you are solo, because there is always some genius who goes and block my beautiful spawn point, that's why sometimes one can't solo the wave, another thing is lag, or also the state of the character due to my attempts to save the teammate's life.

Plus it's different when you know people are watching. First few times when I was last one alive in a wave, my hands were kinda shaky. It got better after a few more times.

Unless there was communication via microphone, he probably didn't know the other squadmates had wiped. I have a Lone Wolf banner and I can tell you that it doesn't oblige me to "carry" my team at will.

Yeah, whatever. Lone wolf doesn't mean he can always make it. It means he is capable of doing it depending on situation and some other factors, like how tired he is sitting behind that desktop.

I've said before I guarantee 99% of the people wearing the Lone Wolf banner didn't even get it legit. Most of them couldn't even get it doing Kroguard vs Geth

It may have just been a bad day for that guy? I can typically finish waves solo if I must on Gold and perhaps on Platinum but I *do* stress out while doing so. Usually saying on the mic STFU guys WATCH MAH BACK IF YOU DON'T WANT US ALL TO DO DOWN. lol. I just get a little stressed running around and having the rest of the team expecting me to win. So whenever someone is trying to finish a wave solo and I'm the dead one- I usually am accepting if they fail.

Lol, I just love how this banner brings out the worst in people reeking with banner envy. It was never an elite club or a sign of skill but the petty comments and attitude of lesser gamers have really made this joke banner into an exclusive little club.
