I am going to be replacing my hard drive in the near future.  I have DLC and a game that I would like to keep what files do I need to backup in order to keep my DLC or will the game allow me to re dowload the content.

Thanks.

Why make such a big deal out of the upgrade? The retail drive comes with software that will dupe your old drive onto the new one, and even allows for the size increase.

You can try the following:

[1] copy the folder "Bioware" from "My Document"

[2] Install DA2 into your new hard drive

[3] copy the "Bioware" folder into the "My Document" in your new hard drive.

I have tried the above on another pc and it preserved those DLC games.

The reason for the post is not that I am just replacing my HD. I am also doing a clean install of Windows7.  I just do not want to lose anything that I have purchased.  Thankyou for your replies.
