I assume Bioware will write whatever they want to.
Personally, if the series is going to go on for much longer, I would like to see what's beyond Thedas.
How many more Dragon Age games can we expect?

Well Final Fantasy is different in that almost every game it makes is in a different world. So its kind of not the same thing.
