Also DC has yet to make anything as Godawful as Marvel Zombies.

Marvel Zombies? Compared to the first half of AvX that was like a masterpiece.

But ya, still Marvel for life

Havent Read AvX, I gave up on Marvels comics after "Marvel Presents: A Zombie Christmas Carol".

It starts off a bit slow but picks up around 5. I'd just ignore Marvel Zombies, and nothing sucked more than Brand New Day. Civil War was pretty good, if milked a bit much.

Wasn't big on Civil War, if they actually Showed the Super Hero Registration Act, I might've liked it a bit more, I thought Punisher was pretty cool in it though.

I'm having trouble seeing anything Marvel has done as being better than Batman, Superman and the Watchmen.

Spider-Man
Hulk
Avengers
Thor
Iron Man
Thunderbolts

Better than Batman and Watchmen. Superman is just horrible.

Are we playing my opinion vs yours? Because that is just dumb.

That's typically what an argument involves.

Civil War was stupid.

You like gainsaying what everyone else says and asserting your own opinions as fact. That's not a debate... that's just obnoxious.

I never once said my opinions are fact.

It was definitely a missed opportunity. It looks like AvX will have some repercussions at least.

Yes it has, silly. DC.

In the last few years? none that I can recall.

Blackest Night is worse than Civil War.

Flash Point was pretty godamn forced.

Nothing will ever be worse than OMD/BND that almost killed Spider-Man and reversed 20 years of character growth and slowed potential for the character dramatically.

I actually enjoyed Blackest night.

But I agree Flash Point was forced, it felt like a Flash Storyline that was turned into a summer event to jumpstart the New 52.

Ooooh hello amazingly awesome thread. I prefer Marvel over DC, though I've been a Marvel fan since my childhood and haven't really delved into DC that much (save for the Batman universe).

My thoughts exactly.

Have to give DC credit though, New 52 was a bold move.

The New 52... Currently it's an endless retcon extravaganza because DC needed a quick buck to overtake Marvel. Only a couple of select titles are truly great (Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman) and some are just fine, but most are sh!t books written by people who are still stuck in an early '90s mindset and they just can't write a thing. Marvel's problem is that they have their annual sh!tty events, but most of their books are great and they keep bringing in new talent.

How?

Everyone can like what they want and think what they want.

I've always liked them both equally. Which unfortunately means I don't like either very much of late. Both companies seem to be trying to actively destroy all the characters I enjoyed. And the endlesss, pointless crossover events get in the way of any good storytelling. Makes me sad.

I'm not that big of a fan of either.
Superhero Comics have a continuity so frakked up it makes the most insane animes look sedated and normal.

But I do like Batman.

Marvel no question. For me, pretty much the only thing DC has going for it is Batman and his rogues gallery in particular. Well, that and the Teen Titans cartoon, which I must admit was amazing. (they're bringing it back btw! =D)

Also, Hulk is the worst superhero in the history of forver. Bad concept, bad implementation, bad everything.

Superman is also boring.

Batman is a giant Mary Sue....but he's a Sue poeple love.
