Can AI deal with Improved Invisibility + Nondetection + SI: Divination?

It's my first time playing BG, and doing a sorc solo run I am yet to see any enemy spellcasters to deal with these combinations, which is making the game ridiculously easy.

They seriously need to nerf some of the existing spells in EE. Too many game enders in mage spells.

In vanilla BG2, no, the AI doesn't have a counter iirc. (Nondetection, despite the description, only helps thieves' "hide in shadows," again iirc.)

The SCS2 mod tweaks some spells and improves the AI so enemy mages can counter that combo. (Actually, if you don't have SI: Abjuration up too, they won't need the spell tweaks and will just cast Remove Magic instead.) I wouldn't recommend SCS2 for your first run, though.

Good luck!

Ease depends on how often you rest. If you rest once per adventure area, you'll find yourself running out of spells (even on a Sorc) rather quickly.

Is an umbrella any use against a nuclear strike?  Technically, the answer is just "no", but that answer by itself doesn't really show the extent of the mismatch.
