I'm guessing they don't realize they are misspelling it.

Personally I'd just scrap almost all of them. Unless there are mad trap laying demons sneaking through the veil, there shouldn't be traps everywhere.
When we go to Nevarra and inevitably end up raiding one of their tombs for some lost artifact, then there should be traps.

Because "Rogue" is a silly way to spell that word. Really, it should be roag.

Because sticking "ue" on the end is a silly way to make the o long. It looks like it should be pronounce rog oo.
"Roge" would also be acceptable. Or even "roeg", though that looks dutch.

I fully support thismousestalker wrote...
A rouge trap could be a lot of fun. The PC steps into its aoe and "poof" is blinded and covered in fine red powder. If it's an improved rouge trap, then the PC steps into the aoe and "poof" a red dust cloud appears. The PC emerges from it three seconds later looking fabulous.

The rogue should be red in the face just for triggering such a trap... Just sayin'.

Simple request, can rouges have a larger detection range for traps? Sometimes you couldn't see them untill you was right ontop of them. Also, can non-controlled companions move to disarm traps on their own without the need to switch and do it yourself.
This would be a very bad idea, don't you remember Tommy knockerknees or whatever his name was in NWN running around the other side of the map opening doors, activating monster spawns becasue he spotted a map way way over there?
