Could someone enlighten me on the logic behind a loadout like this?

Those goddamn Challenges. People are trying to rack up points quickly by combining the worst weapons with the classes.

So you could have had a no charge phasor built Slayer.
Use Phasor to take out shields and then headshot with the Crusader.
Sounds like a valid tactic to me.

I could accept this loadout on a Destroyer or Krentinel/Kroldier.
And as I said earlier, he didn't have Charge. (Mind you, this was a guy with 700 N7 and it was a Reapers/Gold game.)

A 0/6/6/6/6 build doesn't require much cooldown Phasor being a no cooldown dependant on shields ability.

Yeah, but this guy certainly did not pull it off well and let his CSR overheat all the time.

sometimes charge is not best solution. It's quite dangerous off-host.
Crusader is still awesome weapon. Shotgun that shoot one slug, with automatic armor-piercing mod, nice range and sniper riffle precision. I can point worse weapons which are in use.
Here i must agree with Ziegrif.(not only because we are both MUTHAPLUCKA CLAYMORE lovers)

Then He was using a legit strategy, that can be good, very VERY badly.
It's PuGs. What'd you expect? I see a lot of people not put any equipment in pugs and haven't seen even one of those heroes cross the 100k mark dmg wise in predetermined games. Good thing they pulled weight in other areas like objectives, revives, being a REALLY GOOD distraction too!

PD is the slayer's best ability. BC refills shields for more PD. Post patch it is significantly less risky to BC. Can you tell me where 6 points (get it at least to 3) are better spent? (outside of PD)

I just joined a silver match against reapers wave 6 and the first ranked was whispering about how ridiculous his collectors rifle was (he was on a turian ghost).
All it took me was 6 waves and 5 wave-11-missiles to show him how ridiculously overpowered my N7 Fury was.
I ended up on ranking first having quite a lolz about how OP Missiles are
Not being serious but that was a quite a fun waste of 5 missiles and aggressive ops pack gameplay, even got sync killed 1 round...
wait ... what?

Worst and best in this game all belong to the eye of the beholder. I treat all my classes biotic, tech or combat as if they all don't have to worry about cooldown and use the weapons I feel with the powers I feel. So how often do you see an asari adept running 2 guns and still biotic detonating? :innocent:InTheZone wrote...

Well, I want my teammates to be useful. As scapegoats or damage dealers, I don't care, as long as they stay alive.

I have two guns on my Fury, Acolyte and Hurricane, so the amount of guns does not matter, your amount of CDR does.
