Hi, I'm currently in the process of creating a world map for my campaign. My world map image is much larger than the maximum 647x647 size. If I scale the image down to fit this size it loses a lot of its detail.
Is it possible to have multiple world maps based on where you enter/exit the map? If I exit from town B, show me map B, if I exit from town A show me map A. Or can the interface move around a larger map image? Otherwise I would need to split the map into separate campaigns?

Yes you can. Simply change the map call.
You can even have one world map link to another if you can do a little scripting. I had my world map set into two sections. This lik has a demo of it in action:
