When the original argument is I DON'T LIKE THE ENDINGS BECAUSE YOU RECONCILE WITH YOUR ENEMY INSTEAD OF BLOWING HIM UP what do you really expect?

An ending that felt like a win?

A "win" that didn't make me feel unclean afterwards?

An ending consistent with the endings of ME1 and ME2?

Just a few thoughts

For me anyway, yes.

Yes.

As consistent as ME2 was with ME1.

But the endings of ME1 and 2 are consistant, seeing as how you actually win, without any needing for speculation on whether or not you did.

It's obvious in the EC that things turn out pretty rosy. The details are left to you, but you won, no question.

Ok, I never bothered to download it, but even so, ME1/2 didn't need dlc to show you that, and also you didn't need to speculate on what exactly "victory" constituted.

I'm not debating the original endings. They were ****, now they're fixed.

I'm also not wading through a ton of butthurt to get at someone who actually wants to talk, so don't be surprised if I don't respond to everything.

I don't know if you can read anyone else's posts through your caps lock, but the only one who is butthurt here is you.

You asked a question, and I answered honestly. If you won't respond then so be it.

suggesting imagination, or lack there of, is the problem of the endings, it is among the most arrogant arguments I have ever heard because it suggest a large group of people do not have a skill that they obviously have but somehow you are still capable of it. How is it even relevant money was paid to be told a story and for a gameplay experience, "imagination" is not a paying option in video games.

In your orginal post you use every buzz word imaginable not to defend the endings, bioware, or even your own opinion, but to attack those you percieve without the "imagination" to create there own ending to a video game. I mean you described them as "spoilt, whine, whiners, morons, derps" while implying many other things, and seriously you don't expect any sort of backlash or you so elequently put as "butthurt".

I am fine with debating with the finer points of the ending (despite who ever I debate is on the losing side just from the sheer difficulty from debating the pros of THAT ending) but this argument of imagination is unacceptable. It is insulting on par to the "entitlement" argument of ign. But what blows my mine is how you would hurt your own cause (defence of bioware) through just a complete nonsense argument.

At least I'm not running around a forum whining about something that's already been fixed.

If you haven't downloaded EC, you don't have the right to whine about the endings.

You misunderstand. Imagination, or lack of it, is not the ending's problem. The ending has no problem. It is only you lot who have a problem: unrealistic expectations. You want BW to be your personal film-makers for your Shepard. You ignore the flaws of the first two games and create absurd demands to try and justify your disappointment.

You guys won, EC is fantastic. Give it a rest now.

And we're done. VERY close to more than a few people being banned for fighting, swearing and name calling here. If this continues in any other thread and people will be banned.

LOCKDOWN!
