they are say that Shepard as the main character is done and I not say that Shepard Son/Daughter is go to be the main character

Honestly, I'd rather that blood relatives of the main characters not appear to take over for their first draft counterparts. Better to cut ties and make completely new characters, for the most part. (I do strongly prefer Wrex to Grunt, but that's because Wrex has a personality and Grunt is an infant.)

I don't think that Shepard's child as a main character works, myself.

I agree. The new team should be unrelated. Decendants can be referenced or have Cameos, but not be part of the team. Too many ways it could back fire. Get alot of "My shepard never would have. blah blah blah..." Since they are going to go with a new main character they should just start clean slate with the whole team.

but if next game is set is 10. 20 or 100 years after reaper war see a blood relative of Shepard that may or may not be Shepard Son/Daughter and if not the Son/Daughter Shepard then a blood relative of the Son/Daughter to link  Shepard in the next game if he or she had  romance anyone in any of the games

I hope not, that's a very fanfiction thing to do.

Besides, some Shepards will have been faithful to crew members with whom conceiving a child would be difficult or impossible. Miranda is human, but infertile. Tali and Garrus are species so alien that our bodily fluids are poisonous to one another. (Seriously, way to live dangerously, guys.) Cortez, Traynor or Kaidan are the wrong gender for conventional procreation.

Well back in ME3 they kept hinting at it with the whole you'd make a great mom/dad Shep but considering how shep can love aliens he/she can't breed with, Miranda has the same problem, and the only one who has the most credit for actually having Shep's child is Liara however if you didn't romnace her she took your DNA imprint via lying to you so considering how much of a controversy she's created from her meld I think people would freak out more when they find out their Asari hero lead is the daughter of Shep and Liara so I think no decendant of Shep should be present unless it's from the rumored ren shep's sister whom abandoned him/her on Earth to die.

Obviously there are plenty of fertile women who Shepard could potentially have impregnated (e.g. random background extra 28).

The point of having Shepard's child as a protagonist would be to continue Shepard's story, and your plan (retconning Shepard to have randomly screwed Jack on the side for the sake of an heir) doesn't really do that.

Next game should have nothing to do with Shepard. Have him/her mentioned a few times, and that's it.

No the only way shep is getting a child is via Liara which is why I think everyone kept saying how great a mother/father shep would be because no where else in the game save romanced Liara for SB does this come up with anyone anywhere.

To me this was foreshadowing that shep would have a child yet again your LI doesn't say they want this and in other cases it clearly can't happen so the only one left is Liara her "gift" is more like a meld which doesn't help and she is the biggest shep fangirl in the galaxy only Harbi rivals her so her taking his/her dna regardless of romancing is plausible and was most likely BWs plan to begin with.

However if we get to chose an Asari protagonist and or a high level npc comes into the game and we later find out it was shep+Liara's child the boards will explode those who count what Liara did as rape will rage a fire storm and while those who thought it was love regardless of weather or not they truly romanced her will be pouring out hearts for the event and it'll become such a mess on here it won't even be funny.

So no child of shep at all. This child and or ancestor thing only works in fable due to the non attachment to your hero character they're simply a projection device shep isn't that way so no kid from him/her should show up at all and while I'm on the subject no shep clone or 5th element type of workings either should show up in ME4 or beyond.

i not say that Shepard's child is go to be the protagonist in the next mass effect game I say if Shepard's child is go to be in the next mass effect he or she will be a npc / it like how with dragon age 2 we do not need our save input but we can still use it  as a  link  from dragon age1 to dragon age 2  if we like to it maybe like that

Going down this path wont lead anywhere good in terms of game and story quality and would most likely end up to be quite corny.

Aside from that there is only 1 character able to give my Femshep a child being Liara with Kaidan being deceased as of Virmire, as said there is many ways such a storyline could end up corny and go wrong.
