We are working with the origin team to port ME3 from Origin to Steam, where the MP will be stable, the customer support will be good, the VAC will be in effect, and the community will be able to have a unified friends list.

(hopefulness mine)

One of those glad I'm on console moments I suppose. I've played games on origin before never liked it.

A quick question:

Why does Origin fall?

---

So it can get up again ... to fall some more.

I love steam. I do not love origin.

I thought I hated Steam as I have been with it since its infancy and it was really bad at first. To me, it still isn't that great, so potentially, there is room for competition.

But then I met Origin. Never mind its lack of features, the amount of trouble I have to go through just to connect every few days, it is just mindblowing.

I have learned to live with Steam. Origin is nowhere near the level of usablity that I'd expect from software like this. It will take a long time before I get used to it, even if it were more stable.  If there was a way to play ME3 without Origin that still allowed me to talk to people I've met through the game, then I'd switch in a heartbeat.

C'mon EA/Origin we don't want to see that veiled monochrome avatar anymore!

It looks so sad.

Steam and Good Customer Support?  Every time I use there customer support I have to wait a week for an E-mail back telling me to do everything I told them I did in the original E-mail I sent them.

Mine says "Account already in use: Another computer is currently logged into this account"

Awesome, that's some solid stuff right there.............

Don't worry about that. Probably someone from Origin team is working on your account, maybe there was a problem with some of the data stored on some accounts, some bugs with them or something. I got that 'another logged in' too.

Send Garrus to fix it. I'm sure Origin need many calibrations.

Can it wait for a bit? He's in the middle of some calibrations.

Why am I thinking of a really lame rip off of the A-team when I hear 'Origin Team'?

A dude who is supposedly in charge, who is always smoking cigars, who never has any real plan, yet claims all of the credit when things go well.
A dude who is afraid to touch computers, but has to, it is his job.
A crazy man.
A ladies man who is forever distracted by any random woman nearby, who happens to work in a line of work where he is very unlikely to meet any.
