My understanding, from a post in a different thread by some guy who seemed to know what he was talking about, was that they do indeed use (among others) Amazon servers.

I did!  As soon as the servers were back Steam was discarded and other friends on said client noticed my disappearance, identified the reason and joined me in ME3MP

So yea it's the morning after.

Finally managed to get on ME last night. But after a REALLY crap day at work, and getting home seriously late, and just wanting to blow stuff up, I'm greeted with all this Origin drama. 

Come on Bioware, I'm getting so tired of defending you. How about giving us some decent servers, and some decent service?

Today is going to be crap again, so I'm REALLY going to want to shoot stuff when I get home. Please don't let me down again...
