Yes, indeed, this loss of connection business is getting REALLY annoying. I bust my tail to get to the end of a game and get dropped before extraction and lose all my efforts over 1/3 of the time. Additionally a sizeable portion of the games I start with equipment get dropped just after the game starts, losing the equipment and again NO results posted. Although I really enjoy playing this game when it works, the sheer magnitude of dropped games will prevent me from ever purchasing a game that uses this architecture ever again. It is totally horrible that some random new player ends up as host and drops out early in the first wave, and BANG!, "you have lost your connection to the game". Lost equipment, lost time waiting for the game to begin with, SUCH a waste, only exceeded by the time I have wasted with crashes of windows os and lost work with earlier versions of windows. I am tremendously appreciative for the efforts of the game artists, but the implementation of how the game is served should NEVER have been allowed to see the light of day. Origin drops off, Mass Effect drops off, or the HOST drops off, and you are dead in the water! If I wanted that type of treatment, I would wander around the city getting mugged. (I am not sure if I have managed to get across my degree of dissatisfaction with the way this game works. Things are supposed to just work, not fail about 50 percent of the time.)

 I was in a Silver match that just finished wave 8 when it went down, was trying out my new Krogan shaman and having a great time Shockwaving dudes.

I was in the process of finishing my first silver solo before I give gold an attempt, fortunately didn't use no equipment, otherwise I would be annoyed. But if I was soloing gold, I'd be down at the origin servers and head cheese getting me some bootie to be chewing out!

Mmmh, server crashes happen from time to time. BUT the game could at least exit gracefully or put your game on hold for the time the server is unavailable instead of crashing hard to the Main Menu. There should at least be a little dead time involved here, especially since even the shortest connection loss results in being kicked out of the current game...
