The servers died just after I got me some extraction credits and bought a pack... now I wonder if the responder gear stayed put.

This has happened to me a couple of times, and in both instances the items I unlocked were present in my inventory when I logged back in.  My fingers are crossed for you.

Let's hope the fix the issue ASAP.  I've got a rare bit of free time and was hoping to find that elusive Harrier.

Why the hell do we not just use steam?

This origin fiasco is the same thing that apple is trying with their new maps. Releasing unfinished crap just to try and get a hold of a market share that already has a well working solution.

because of EA that's why.
honestly I don't hate origin, I think it's competition, so that's cool, but I don't like when they make a game exclusive for one service..  (even though steam also does that)
