Perhaps there should be a troubleshooting forum? Whatever.
Previously, I had the "Unable to Connect to Database" error, but thankfully I found a life-saving tutorial on how to fix the issues with MySQL Express 2005 installation. However, now whenever I start up the toolset, it just crashes and gives me a Microsoft Error Report window.
Now, I do not have a graphics card supported by Dragon Age (hopefully I will be picking one up today at Best Buy). Could this possibly be the problem?
I know this could probably be a number of different problems, but if anybody else has experienced this and solved it, I would greatly appreciate some advice. Thanks!

Sounds like it is the GPU.. What is listed in the Error Reporting window?
