I assumed it was a horned bear-thing.

I thought the silhouette had a certain jowly bulldog sort of face. But dog, bear...it doesn't matter. It's a big hulking thing that is probably all sorts of scruffy and wants to play catch with boulders.

If they were going to come out with news that is going to be as badly received as "no racial choice for DA3" why the heck wouldn't they soften the blow with "Giant Scorpion Mounts?"

I mean... come on. I'm not saying one cancels the other out... but they ALMOST cancel each other out. And that counts for something.

This is ingenious as it's potentially more epic than dragon mounts, would spawn 100s of threads, and boost sales.(the last one's a stretch but still)

Fenris names the 4 legged beasts in DA2, but I can't remember what he called them.

I really hope we get a good amount of new and variety creatures to fight, it feels like 95% of non-human encounters in DA2 were spiders, undead and demons.

Mabari(which I always thought was the weirdest of the lot), Kossith, dwarves, darkspawn and the occasional elf. But yes, more enemy types are always nice.

That was a problem. It seemed like half the population of Kirkwall were shades and walking corpses.

Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe what i felt when they revealed Johnson's character near the climax.

I've made the demand several times, and it has since worked its way into the hearts and minds of other posters who now want it.

Also, the latter one gave John Epler nightmares when I first requested it.

Giant scorpions? Seriously? I can see magisters using blood magic to control dumb animals but riding them? I guess it could make sense. Scorpion armor is tough. But it all sounds so silly.

All I care about is "Tevinter" on that pic. Anything Tevinter Imperium gets me excited. I'm hoping we get to visit the country and a big chunk of the game is based there. Orlais honestly seems like one of the less interesting places in Thedas to me. I'm far more interested in a place that has so much influence throughout Thedas history. I'd like an entire game devoted to them...
