If Shale comes back re-dwarfed, wouldn't that be the logical form of payback? And wouldn't it be awesome if we had a squishy Shale as a companion? Actually, wouldn't a golemed Shale make a great companion? She's incredibly handy and would provide continuity from DAO.
Have chickens come back to peck us in the ass?

Your title reminds me of kicking chickens in Fable.
Anyways, as much as I'd like everyone from Morrigan to Merrill back, I'd rather have the companions mean something to the story. If Shale's new role fits into the war or whatever then I'm om with that. If not, please leave her behind.

Shale is still her old self (at least as recently as Asunder).
She definitely deserves to be in DA3. Any other outcome will be pigeon crap.

I'm sure Dwarven Shayle could stomp chickens and pigeons almost as well as her golem form.
If we could help her regain her original form, that would be pretty sweet.
And if the birds didn't want to be stomped, they should have minded where they did their business.

Oh judging from the title, I thought you meant literally.Seeing as that's not what this is about... *Leaves thread*

Hehe… I just love the moment in DA:O when, as the Warden is leaving Honnleath after recruiting Shale, Shale pauses to squash a chicken, the Warden turns to give her a puzzled frown, and Shale shrugs. Such perfect comic timing – it cracks me up every time!
If chickens were to come back and peck us as payback, that would be truly hilarious!

I would love to see Shayle under a dwarven form in DA3!
I imagine her very grumpy, very strong and strong-willed, but scarred by chickens' conspiracies against her.

I bet re-dwarfed/de-golemed Shale is hot.

I hope Shale stays as a golem, to be honest.

I can see how BW could work out an interesting compromise : Re-dwarfed Shayle could keep her former Shale's body as a magical stone armor, in which she would disappear through a little trapdoor opening in the back (suited with a little ladder.)

I'd rather have a simple mindless golem this time.

I think she'll eventually have to find a way back (or learn that she's perfect just the way she is), but I really feel that she's worthy of a tragic end when the time comes.
So if she ever does change back, I think she has to die, or at least lose the parts of her personality that came about from being a golem.
But that puts a lot of pressure on David to have her life really mean something before the end. She needs a death that can be celebrated, by how profound and moving and inspiring her journey was.

I was excited when in the bulletin board next to the 'creature concept art' which has shadows of the different creatures, there's a note that looks like it says 301 chickens!!!!! Go chickens!!! You just have to see my album, yes, I raise chickens!!!! Mean roosters will be stewed! It would be so hilarious to have a rogue with a rooster companion that's trained to flog people and distract them while he/she picks their pocket. *Sigh* probably only something a Crazy Chicken lady could appreciate!

I'd love to have Shale back in the game, preferably with an optional quest where you can chose to help her regain her dwarven form. (This would also make great DLC if it's not in the game)
