Greetings,
  I have recently downloaded the Leviathan DLC, and now suffer from the Hanar Diplomat bug, other than reloading a previous save and losing the 9 hours of play since starting it, is there a solution?

Do you have an auto-save? You can do that to try to play the Hanar Diplomat mission properly..
