Hmm, I'll pass. Sneaking in bethesda games (which is what you're asking) is just a boring time sink. Since PC gamers are gonna be playing mostly with a mouse, expecting them to deal with thing like crouching, crawling and jumping is asking to much of the players.
On an unrelated note: say yes to controller support in PC version! it's been the industry standard for years, but bioware is still dragging their feet on this issue for some reason...

Why must relate with other games? Doesn't Bioware make own mechanic about it?
Look at KotOR, there use to be stealth/sneak mode, but in this game it is useless because of only one party member can stealth.
Why not make the whole party members going stealth?
It is tactical, a warrior doesn't always charged into battle. there is a time to hide and ambush, even in war an army will exploit terrain, using smoke screen, digging ground and hide, and many more
All these time in DA and most Bioware game only using typical tank, dps, nuker, healer system, why not change a bit without loosing the identity?
For example, an ambush, order a tank to attack first, then archer shoot behind a bush, mages use fireball from the hill, or make such a paratrooper attack. Usually in game only enemies do that while the player can't do that

If want to relate with games, why not relate with SWAT or Rainbow Six, and rainbow Six can be played in 3rd person.
Also Metal Gear, Resident Evil and many more....
Commando 3 is a 3rd person view team game too and have tank, nuker, dps, healer system too...have a soldier, spy, assassin, sapper, sniper...

Personally I am a big proponent of making enviromental (and social, and other non-combat) challenges a bigger aspect of the game. I could see enviromental/stealth challenges working like big puzzles. Moving your characters across the area, from position to position. Taking into account different routes, dangers and moving patrols. Carefully manouvering and supporting one another around the obstacles towards the end.

Yes, and by the way isn't an Inquisitor job to investigate, for sure must use those skills, to penetrate base, sneaking into someone house, hiding behind barrel, spying on people and so on...?
or it just, walking around, and there...some thing on the ground, click it, a clue...walk some other places, there is something on the table, pick it...if it is like this then meh....like Gascard DPuis case...and All that remain..."oh there is blood....another blood...another blood...."
