supposed to have earned one from completing the weekend event. Has a gold medal next to it, and when you inspect it it the (X) button lights up and it lets you 'apply banner' or whatever
then nothing happens

At the moment using the Machinist Banner.Working towards Reaper Mastery (85% Husk 3.Goddamn,that was a lot of Husk killing) and the Rebellion Mastery.

You don't get a banner from the past event. It was an error.

I guess it seems superficial when I know that, had the Challenges been in the game to begin with, I'd already have unlocked practically all of them. Doing it again for the sake of an image seems... superfluous.

I'm playing a lot of AR and SR classes, so I guess I'm working on those banners. 

The others will happen eventually.

I just completed the SMG Mastery

Easy but tedious

a lot of solo bronze with the FQE+Turian Sentinel

6 U/U/Bronze and didn't get collectors once

I complete the Assault Rifles Mastery.

Easy enough, now i hunting for.

Rebelion Mastery, currently close to finish the extractions from Goddess Firebase.
SMG Mastery, currently get points with Locust.
Commando Mastery, currently finish extractions as Salarian Engineer and Asari Valkirie.

Using the Rebel banner. Working on Defender now as it seems to be one of the best looking banners. Could take me awhile to get it though. ;-)

I've completed Commando Mastery today. Felt like an eternity since most other masteries in that category just require extractions and not completing waves..

I want to get the Operator banner from Squad Elite.
I'm internally debating if I should make the jump to Platinum difficulty to get it sooner or just complete six weekend challenges.

I accidentally got rebel. I like it. Working towards the resurgence mastery one now with asari justicar wielding a striker and trying to play on condor/hydra. I like to go all out.
