Concerning Dark Shadow fix

Some time ago I came across a fix for the dark shadows in Mass Effect 2 (below). It occurs to me that something like this could benefit ME3 as well, which also suffers from dark and crushed blacks at times. Except, I can't find the file I'm supposed to edit.

Anyone have any suggestions on this.

text editor can fix the shadow issue, but keep the effect over all.

find this line:-
float3 x = max(0,InLinearColour-0.004);

and change it to

float3 x = max(0,InLinearColour);

You
can also change the 0.004 to something closer to zero, like 0.001, to
make the effect less rather than removing it, or to something larger to
make the black crush even worse.
