I love the Disciple. Looks great, Rate of Fire is great, Sounds awesome, and the Ragdoll on death is all kinds of amusing.

The damage, however is just sad. There's no reason to bring this when most other guns in the game have vastly superior dps and/or versatility.

The fact that it's light doesn't even matter because there's no gameplay difference between 150% cooldown and 200% cooldown in my opinion.

The best way to use it is as an omni-blade club, which isn't something I see Asari Justicars doing (It's an Asari weapon, yadda yadda.)

A buff to usable levels would be greatly appreciated.

That whole challenge in general is tiring. Luckily for me I was messing around with the Disciple a fair bit before deciding to do the challenges, so I had most of my points for it before starting.

I agree. If the GPR can get a buff, the Disciple can too.

The only benefit I see when I want a shotgun that is as light weight as possible for my biotic user classes but that´s about it and as you go upper and upper in difficulty, the more useless it gets.

 As of right now it's only use is as a mount for the Omniblade, it's sorely in need of a big damage buff. A ROF buff too for good measure.

Agreed. I was trying to find a reliable lightweight stagger weapon for a Slayer that keeps cooldown close to 200%. I ended up having better luck with an Avenger. I kid you not.

I loved this gun on my Drell Vanguard. Now with the increased difficulty and enemy enhancements, the Disciples failure to deliver is even more critical. Please buff...

What makes it even worse is the fact that every shotgun except for those two is gold viable. So the Disciple sticks out like a sore thumb because is is so crappy compared to a bunch of good to great shotguns.

@Topic: The N7 Slayer being my main kit makes it understandable that I want this buffed. It's meant to be a caster weapon, hence its weight, but even so it falls short by a large margin given its rare status.

the disciple is perfectly viable on bronze and silver if you use a TSol, an amp V, a Smart Choke V, a High Caliber Barrel V and headshots.

Works in google chrome too, and you don't need to install greasemonkey, because the chrome supports all the GM scripts.

Chart doesn't mention that Disciple has a stagger effect.

Also, when you add 50% weight from the omniblade, the disciple weighs less than half of what the katana weighs.

Stagger effect + omniblade damage bonus make this weapon the best in the game for any melee class.

Stagger is not reliable and the omni-blade works with any shotgun with the M-22 being at least somewhat decent and only 0,2 heavier.
