I can also say that this poll seems to be based on IP-adress or something and not account here on the BSN. I have two accounts and just for the heck of it I tried voting twice. It seems the vote only gets registered once. So cheating is not possible

I'm also kind of surprised by how it is almost 50/50 at this moment.

Well, I guess I'm more indifferent about it than anything. It really depends what bones they throw for us in other areas of the game...

No. We can have Elven (slave revolt) or Kossith (Qun invasion) protagonist when we'll up against Tevinter magisters in DA4 or 5 or Dwarven  (from the 2nd Thaig) one when will be in Anderfels.

Orlais is too much of a Human land. And the conflict is based on human problems. Why should an Elf, Dwarf or Kossith sort it out?

I'm all good with it at least we get to choose our back story with is a step in the right direction it shows that even though we can't have races they're still trying to give us something of what we asked for.

Not even a little, I rarely play as other races. I do play sometimes, but if the resource is too constraint, I don't mind they allocate it to something else.

Flawed in a sense that they don't coincide with the consensus you assumed was true?
It's a rather neutral question.

Devastated is more like it. Hurt and annoyed by those who make fun of those of us who are upset, or who act very blase about it. And no, I'm not one of those who insulted the devs and started up hate threads; I understand it had to be done. But yes, I'm very, very saddened and disappointed.

Well, I'm pretty sure that 100% of the BSN community is human, so it doesn't surprise me that half the people in the sample are okay with a human protagonist.

Flawed in the sense that the poll provides meaningless data. With a simple "Are you dissapointed? Yes/No", you have learned nothing. Perhaps a better question would have been "Rate your dissapointment on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being very dissapointed, 1 being happy with decision)". The binary yes/no doesn't tell the whole story. Hell, it barely tells even part of it.

Yes I would be dissapointed. I like to be able to step outside the standard mindset and cultural values of the human race that you are trown to death with in everyday life.

No I'm not at all disappointed. I played as every race in Dragon Age Origins and, during replays, I chose the human origin stories as I preferred them over the others. Playing as a different race didn't make or break the story/gameplay/parts of a game that mean a damn to me...it was just there and was a feature I tried out.
