Ever occurred to you that are two completely different publics? Most of the ME players aren't that much interested for MP, they play ME3 MP because they ended up licking it, after playing to help on the SP, or as a replacement for the SP, that most didn't liked that much. I can assure to you that there's a LOT of players that don't give a d*mn about COD or any other MP game that will be released in the next months.

I like other MPs, but I have no reason to play two Shooters at the same time, and I already have BF3, so COD to me means a big pile of nothing...

Halo I couldn't care less, since it's exclusive to Xbox, which I don't have (PC here)

This.  I played Borderlands off and on for a couple days once I had it, beat it and came back to this in full force.

I think a good portion of us playing ME3 MP right now are going to keep sticking with it, even when other big titles come out. Granted COD and H4 will be time hogs compared to other releases, so there may be a noticeable drop, but I don't think it'll be a ghost town here. If anything I think ME3 MP will be cozier with a lot of BSNers still hanging in there, so maybe the MP experience will actually improve! H4 is going to make me, and I think a lot of others, expect more from Mass Effect MP, both in this incarnation and possible future games.

You can at least be a little more realistic with the dates there OP.. Dec 21, 2012.. So as to not confuse our friends overseas on the whole date issue thing.

If anything will kill the ME3 universe that is the date that will do it.. We all know the Mayans have never been wrong. LOL /sarcasm

To be fair a lot of people (myself not being one of them) will be getting CoD when it comes out as they have nothing better to do with their life and it is the perfect game for all those 8 yr old kids and those unemployed 30 yr olds who want a game that they won't get bored of and can do all their quickscoping BS or whatever they call it.

People keep saying that any time some big new game comes out, and so far the game keeps going. I'm sure we've lost a lot of people, but I'd be very surprised if this game didn't keep going strong for at least 6 months after the final DLC, and we've yet to have any proper notion of when that might be. I'd say it's a distinct possibility people will keep playing this game for years (albeit with decreasing frequency), certainly it is my intent to do so.

RJ, Age of Empires is freaking awesome. Hell, I still play the original Command and Conquer, AND RA1... The older games are awesome.

Dont even get me started on BG1 + 2, Diablo 1, and Icewind Dale. Love them to death.

I feel slightly old now actually...

I don't play FPS, never have, never will. Not my style. I'm sure there are enough other folk like me to keep the matchmaking going smoothly.

I for one will be buying Halo 4 and the new Modern Warfare (pre-ordering both), and I can also tell you I'll play this game at least as much as either of the others (if not more than all other games combined, as now) on an ongoing basis for as long as this game is going/I can find a decent match.

Halo 4: Not for pc = don't care

Black Ops 2: First one was a complete failure, not wasting my money on another crappy game

AC3: pretty much SSDD, plus teaspoon-AI opponents.

It will have absolutely no effect on the PC and PS3, and being that I play on PC it wont have any effect on me.

As far as PC goes, if Borderlands 2 didn't kill it, it's not going to be killed.

A large number of those players who think they are 'pro' will likely head off for BLOPS 2. As in, those who think they are awesome, but stink, because CoD rewards bad players which tricks them into thinking they are good.

My regular ME 3 team will be playing nothing but Halo 4 for a couple of months at least.

So yes the player base will undoubtedly shrink, but so will the number of players who get downed on wave 1...

Screw Halo and COD..I'm sticking with my ME3 when it comes to Multiplayer. I might still play Black Ops 2 for the single player but that's it.
