The only two games I'm looking forward to in the next month or so are Hitman and Assassin's Creed and I doubt those will pull me away from this game.

I have been playing Chivalry: Medieval Warfare though. That game is crazy fun.

I think Halo 4 might do something, I doubt much of the COD playerbase has ME3 anyway, they tend to hate every other game out there. But some Halo fans probably play this, including myself.

Edit: A large portion of the ME3 playerbase is on xbox, Halo is a big game overall and it looks like 343 has done a pretty good job so far. So it'll hurt the xbox playerbase of ME3. But PC and PS3 aren't going to notice. But then again, most of the people on these forums are die hard ME3 fans. So the majority of the playerbase is not on the forums, so we can never know for sure how many will be leaving.

halo4 will be just like halo3 good for about 8 hours and then your left wiht just playing it over n over at each difficulty to earn badges.

i dont generally do that wiht anything asside from me/da everyother game i have i completed it once and put it asside /traded it in, and went back ot playing some mmo or another

me3mp has stopped me needing to use a pay to play game for months (making my bank and my wife happy) so really i cant see there being much other than me4 mp that will make me swap to a different game for a long ass time yet.

he is one of the campaing only people; witch is fine. i love the campiang as much as the next guy but i dont by games that have mp just to only play the campaign. as to halo 3? it was fun and all but all the de rankers, lagswitches, boosters, and account selling was a total kill joy........still played but it wasnt as enjoyable. hopefull all that stuff will be fixed in 4.

also halo 4 will not be like 3..................have you not bothered to even look at all the new mechanics and stuff they added? <_<

Blops2 sounds interesting. COD MP is pretty addicting. More intense than ME3 MP, because you are going up against real idiots, not just teaming up with them against bots.

Dec 20th I believe... Our solar system is supposed to get too close to a black hole.... Who knows, I got Boarderlands - Played it - and now continue with ME3. Love ME3, and the new stuff simply flames my love for the game!

 Oh... the end is nigh threads start appearing again.  I was so happy that they stopped a bit after Retaliation dropped. I am sure that the MP will survive a bit longer, after all it survived Boringlands 2.

And yeah, those of us that will play will be those who only enjoy only ME rather than MP games as a whole. To all others - have fun with other games guys, we had a good run. But to those in particular that need to post 1235425 threads how ME sucks now and they can now finally play something better - so long suckers, I don't want to listen to your whiny bull**** anyways. 

Edit: Yeah, I also play other games and ME at the same time, too. It's not like you have to play one thing or die...

Just as an aside, I am so stoked for Halo 4. Thus, however, will not likely change my love for Mass Effect. I will play both, just Halo 4 more when it's released.

It's not Halo 4, people. That comes out 11/6/12, though Halo *may* affect playerbase, it won't by much. November 13 is Call of Duty Blops 2.

Anyway, you're silly to think that, OP. No one on these forums even likes Call of Duty, and the ones who would play Blops 2 already frequently drown themselves in the crap that is Modern Warfare 3.

Halo 4 will definitely mark the death of ME3 Single-Player for me. But I'll still be back for multiplayer on Operation weekends and new characters I like.

Now if 343i had kept Firefight... That would be a different story.

Most people seem to have a default multiplayer they fall back to when they aren't playing any other games SP. Given that I believe that the numbers will drop for a week or two while people have a chance to play the SP of new games but after that they will default back to this.

Its been a good run but ill be playing a LOT less once Halo 4 comes out, them Skyrim DLC etc.
