Holy mother of god, look at all the ginormous E-Peens in here.
Zip up your friggin' pants guys. There's actually people here that have trouble playing games.
I bet gold is real easy with your Piranha GI's and your Turian Ghosts with full 6/6/6/6/6 powers, huh?
There will always be people who struggle with some things.
Those people are more than welcome to come into the forum and ask for help, suggestions, or even people to play with to help them get better. As a matter of fact, I help out anyone who asks. I give tips and pointers on everything from enemy and class mechanics to character builds and weapon/equipment loadouts. I'll even carry them through gold matches to help them get more money so they can unlock things faster. And I don't do it nearly as much as some other people here.
With people like me and the others that are more than willing to help out on the forum here, seeing consistent whining is not something I think is justified. If everyone was struggling to beat gold and platinum games, then sure. Whining would be warranted. Clearly, it's not.
Ask and ye shall receive. If you're not good enough, ask for help to get better. You'll get it. You'll get better. And then you'll be wtfbbqpwning gold enemies in no time

There ARE new enemies, and we DO need to find the ways to deal with them. But the difficulty is not changed. I dont know this is true or not, but it is exactly my feeling.
Besides, I use a lot of consumables, from missles,med-gel to cryo ammo, even in bronze. Check my manifest, my med-gel never hit 2 digits.
So what? I got a lot of fun in this game, and I will keep playing it.
Maybe you need to ask yourself what is the FUN you want? Maxed manifest? All challenges done in 1 month? N7 20000 or solo platinum like a piece of cake? Yes there are many amazing players here, they completed unbelieveable achievements, I admire them, but I don't envy them. They do have their fun, but I have mine.
In the point of view, even with some bugs and flaws, this game is greatly playable.

You know games are supposed to be fun, enjoyable even....
If you need to have a maxed out manifest and solo plat so you can have fun, you might want to get a career, or a wife and pop out some kids cause thats where real satisfaction comes from.
I remember when casuals complained about highend raiders having better equipment in EverQuest having no life or career and that they should have the same spoils also for no work. It was always pretty funny to me since my guild was #1 on our server and yet we were filled to the brim with families with children, careers, and spouses; one of our officers was an astronaut and served in Iraq.
Soloing Platinum takes skill and patience, not living in your mothers basement. You purchased an EA published game and didn't expect horrible money grubbing support? <_<

And those of you saying people should use more consumables and complain about those who don't, just keep in mind all the connection problems people are having with Bioware's servers and how it often drops players. I would use consumables more, but in about 1 of 3 games I play I get dropped, and those consumables get lost. I have a 10 meg cable modem, so I'm not sure why I'm always loosing connection. I've yet to see a spec on what is a good internet connection for this game, and Bioware doesn't publish server ping rates or anything, so I can't tell if I'm on a good game connection or not until I play and see lag and get dropped. Perhaps if Bioware would restore my consumables when I get dropped, I would be more apt to use them, but as it is, I'm taking a chance that using consumables is a total waste because I can get dropped at any time (and many times it has been on the last wave). So to act like people are irresponsible for not using consumables (especially on early waves) ignores these facts and ignores the fact that the game limits how many you can use in a mission as well.

And SOE eventually introduced Defiant gear and Mercs among other things in order to make the game easier for the non-raiders. Same thing happened with WoW although to the extreme end of the spectrum. One thing devs eventually learned from EQ was that the vocal hardcore were really the minority when it came to subscriptions. ME MP is different in as much as the revenue presumably comes from a combination of SP DLC and Store microtransactions but as that is so broken I'd be surprised if anyone other than the rich and/or stupid actually frequent it regularly.

I hate how many players feel that Gold should be adjusted to meet their level of skill. There are four levels of difficulty for a reason: If you are having too much trouble in a difficulty, move to the next difficulty down. Repeat as needed.
There are people that are good enough to completely dummy Platinum solo, and there are players that find Bronze a challenge. You are not entitled to being a good player on Gold.

As a casual player (70% bronze, 20% silver, 10% gold and none of platinum) i am quite sure the difficulty of bronze or silver is not changed. I can always complete bronze in 15 minutes and silver in 30 min since this April.(with team, of course)

Nice to know there are at least 2 of us who play this way. Welcome to the house of fun!

I understand all of this, but my point really was people who assume others at the top are basement dweller no lifer virgins are dumbasses themselves.

Some people here must be teens or plain freaking idiots to trash talk everyone who has an opinion trying to demosntrate how AWSOMEEE they are at playing this game....
These idiots(yes you are idiots because you have no skills at having a decent debate about something...you just attack the OP saying he must suck ot yell at him to adapt) are probably going down more often shooting 5 missles in round 6 and extracting far less times than before... but they sit behind a computer...yell at you, curse you, make fun of you....becuase they are pro ME3 players hahahah if there's such thing.
The straight fact is the game is a bit more difficlt, shields go down way faster, and your health disappears in a couple of shots...new enemies are harder and some people have more problems adapting than others, no reason to bash...you should try to give them tips or help them.
But the BSN is full of idiots who think they are the mighty -super pro- leet - platinium lonewolves -master of the ME3 universe and all shall worship their awsome powers and bow to their skills...
In the end we're all nerds sitting behind a screen thinking we're saving the galaxy...nothing to be so proud of...or ashamed of...
