my Warden.

The Grey Wardens were the villains. Remember when Loghain was going to save that fool Cailan, but then Duncan stabbed Cailan in the back mid-battle, and Loghain bravely led his forces to safety rather into a trap? And the Orlesians were behind manipulating everything, even the Darkspawn and ESPECIALLY the liberal pro-warden/mage/elf media, from behind the scenes? Remember that part of DAO?

Yeah, your elf warden was a villain. Hardly improving things for the elves. Probably killed Vaughan for trying to take in elves off the street and give them a warm place to stay for the night, huh?

So the game has two different stories for an elf Warden and a human/dwarf Warden (I'm assuming the plot you wrote wasn't the one those two Warden had)? The game is far greater than thought.

No, there are no heroic elves, heroic wardens, and certainly no heroic elven wardens. Claims otherwise are just revisionist history, probably spread by undead orlesian bards.

I'm sure that whatever problems or hardships that they are having to endure, they will be more than happy to remind the Inquisitor of them as often as they can.

So a elven Warden was a villain, and a human Warden was a hero, right? That means the game had two different stories, one in which the GW were villains, and another where the GW where heroes.

Here is a possible hint. I was playing Mark of the Assassin just now and happened to hear some banter between Fenris and Merril.
According to him, some elves told him that there is going to be an enormous gathering of the clans really soon. Do you know what this mean...
We could finally catch them all in one place!

Ok, seriously tough, this could be an hint to the Dalish playing a role in the war.

It's called Arlathvhen. A meeting of the clans that happens every 10years and lasts for 2 days. The share knowledge that clans uncover during the 10years and pass along mages to clans needing a First and apprentices.

But in your "personal war" on the Dalish (:pinched:), you raise a good point, imagine that Templars found this meeting during the war, a large sum of Dalish would be wiped out. This would promt the Dalish to go to war for certain, and most likely team up with the Mages.

No, Loghain was the True Hero of Ferelden and all the Grey Wardens were conspiring with the Orelsians (the true antagonists of DAO). The Blight was entirely made up by the liberal media. It was mages who spread all that destruction and death. Thankfully Ferelden was united under Loghain's selfless leadership and put a stop to them all.

Ah, so there was no Grey Warden hero, regardless the race.
I might have played a different game. In mine Loghain ended up with his head separated by his body. But who knows, maybe he learnt the same tricks Leliana did.
