planing to try gold to get it out of the way, now other then shield booster and cyclonic, should i dump the reeger for alcolyte with fire or cryo to make explosions/weak primes? (kroguard btw)

The acolyte will save your arse so so often. It is so light that you don't need to dump anything for it. With UL materials you should be able to have your cake and eat it too. I have found that the Acolyte is key in handling Bombers, Pyros, and Hunters. And Primes, but, eh.

Personal preference.
I'd stick with the Reegar, its easier to take out multiple enemies in a tight spot with it.
Incendiary ammo will still make short work of primes. you could take both anyway with ULM on acolyte.

I like the Reegar with incendiary and stronghold instead of shield booster. If you manage your shield recharge, you can take advantage of the shield gate, which I find to be more effective, if a bit more concentration demanding. If you want to start with easy mode, which I wholly recommend, go with glacier/geth, if you weren't thinking that already.

I think you should go with a bigger map.  Disable objectives can go badly on Wave 10 Glacier with three Primes on the field.

Korguard - up close. reegar with ammo capacity and piercing mod + shotgun amp and incendiary IV, cyclonic IV and shotgun amp V for gear. The best would be geth - they have no insta kill, but they stunlock you A LOT. I had a problem with ONE geth prime while soloing platinum, they are cheaper than before, so watch out.

Reegar + Incendiary Ammo is all you should need for it. Reegar by itself melts the shields right off, and the Fire Explosions make for a plenty easy time against armored targets. Pyros (and Primes, to a lesser extent), all you need to do is aim at the head and follow with a Charge to stagger. Bombers, it's very helpful to learn their patterns and cease firing the Reegar when they go on a bombing run and instead turn towards where it'll finish so you can then get the Fire Explosion (which will typically be enough to finish it off).
