Love the game and love my character, but one thing really caught me out: I created her with a face tattoo, which I'd like to remove. Oblivion offered the option to revise the face after having played the first level and Fallout 3 had a plastic surgeon and a hair dresser so, although this is Bioware and not Bethesda, I didn't think much about trying the tattoo. It seems so obvious to be able to revise the face a short way in, after having seen how it comes out in the actual game and the cut scenes. Also when you first start you want to get going and not spend ages in the character creator. Alas with Dragon Age it does not seem possible. I really hope someone from Bioware reads this, as it's my one big annoyance with an otherwise superb game and might be easily fixed by them.
I downloaded the toolset and was able to transfer the character morph from one save game to another, playing the same character first as a warrior, then as a rogue. Alas the face morph data is binary and unintelligible. In the absense of being able to edit the character in-game, what I'm looking for is a way to extract the character generator slider values from the save game file. Does anyone know whether they are saved - as part of the morph data or otherwise - and how to get them out?
Note this is a game question, not the stand-alone character creator, but seemed appropriate to post here.
Edit character's face?

I was going to post something like this. When I first started playing I thought of Oblivion and wondered would I be able to edit my character's appearance. I haven't taken much time to mess around with it because I've been hooked on playing the game. I browse around here and there at the projects.
I don't know if this will be of use to the OP but it may be for others:

The steps sound a lot similar to what Melissa did with the toolset.

I had trouble with this initially but now that i got it to work i've can change my character's appearance at will. It's a great, simple, fun tweak to use I highly recommend it, especially if you like to mix it up like me. That's one of the things I loved about Fallout 3; the ability to get your hair changed and (if you do the particular story right) change your face whenever you want.

I read the description at the dragonagenexus. So with that you can create a new character and then copy the apperence into your own saved game. However, there is no way to get your current characters appearance into the character creator so you can edit it. Am I reading this right? Thanks
