I have the same problem by playing Dragon Age 2 demo before going through Ultimate Edition. Do I have to go through EA support or should I just PM here?

vaalyah i checked your link and try the 3.2.2 step from 3.1 and its not working for me, i just reinstalled all my game (ultimate edition)
I can see my acchievement, but its telling me
Error Code 1000 - No characters were found in your online storage.
and i cant upload any screenshot, from the game to my profile!
so im totally lost right now

ps:yes i had my dragon age 2 sync before my dragon age origins!
Jesse if you could check my "dragonage" persona. and tell me if its the problem its would be appreciated

can now upload screenshot, and see them ... but  when i look at profile on http://social.biowar...na_id=885778877 i have like 4 dragon age origins now lol? and still cant see my characters

from profile diagnostic i now see them.. but not in the profile or cant use profile avatar, also the screenshot arent really the one i loaded

Same problem, achievements are shown, but no characters. I've tried re-saving main game, then started a new one, still no characters in my profile. DAO ultimate edition, game patch 1.05, haven't played DA2.

go on ea website, can change your default persona. also if you are using ''origins'' make sure you are using the ''cloud stockage'' fixed my problem, i had over 27 000 mo of saved file, and origin could support only 100 mo hehe, took me like 24 hours non stop of trying thing before i was abble to have my screenshot and character uploading to bsn

Evelane, thanks. Downloading saves at "cloud stockage" didn't help, so I guess I should write to EA.

So in the end how to fix it??
- I played DAO when it was lunched... I was able to load characters + avatars + story + screenshots.
- I played Awakening after.
- I played DA2 after

Now apparently I can upload the character's xml files to the server but they dont appear in the Player Profile
I can upload screenshots but don't appear in the Screenshot section of the player profile
If I press Online profile from the game it doesn't find the Player profile..so I think is linking to a wrong address or persona...

I followed the POST from point 1 till the end...nothing worked...any help would be appreciated.


EDIT: OK apparently Updating to version 1.05 did it for me. still the updates are not instant but they work very good.
Another thing that I did was to add FIREWALL RULE in the Dragon Age Config Utility. I have no idea if that helped or not but... now it works:)

fioryairish just go on ea, and switch your default persona, you can do it by yourself, you dont need assistance to do it, you can also make a new one, and try thing, for me, switching/making new persona + origins cloud stockage did it... and i tried anything else that was here and nothing did it

What do you mean by switching your default persona and when u say EA do you mean Origin account? And what is origins cloud? Basically i have a steam virsion of DA:Origins and maybe that's what make the case more difficult? Well this is really annoying me for a long time already

Guys I tryed ALL the solutions you have said before and nothing helped!  I don't know what to do! Please help me someone. I didn't play DA 2 before and basically i don't even have DA 2 that means it's not the problem here for me. I tryed everything! i launched the game with admin rights as well and my daupdatersvc.service for DA is working fine because i'am using a few official addons like Soldiers Peak. My achivements is uploading fine without any problems but my character is not uploaded at all! Why is this happen? Why such a pain with it? Someone please help me with this problem! I say it again i've tryed everything and nothing helped me...
In profile diagnostic  it shows me "Error Code 1000 - No characters were found in your online storage." Nothing i can do with it

I found out at the ea profile.com ( thanks to Evelane ) that actually i played DA2 when it didn't even realised! I play a demo or something like that in 2011. And persona i using to play DA:O is generated by DA2! So this is the main problem! DA2 persona is too long for DA:O to recognize it.Can someone tell me how can i change or delete my DA2 persona?

I'm having the same issue as everyone else. I figured this would be fixed by now but apparently not?

I've changed my EA password, changed my Default EA Profile, added Windows Firewall exceptions and opened the ports on my router but I still get the error "Unable to Connect to Dragon Age Servers" and my profile is empty...

try to make new persona ,my ea account was also using my da2 persona, and like i said , switching and creating new personna solved my issue, try to switch on your profile on your origins page also

Evelane, yes i already created a new persona on ea with another email adress and used it here with my game registered with this new profile and all works perfect( character, screenshots and staff. )! But i can't do nothing about this freesevenup account...i tryed everything and even spoke with ea advisor 2 times, but they couldnt do nothing! They said to me that to change my persona could only expert team advisor or something like that. And they sent my case to the expert team and now i can only wait for the answer on my email.
So the problem is solved, but i guees now i need to buy all the addons once again ( Because i can't use them again on my new profile here unlike the game itself.

umm OK i think i can add persona on the same email adress but how can i use this new persona on this site ? Because as i can see in my registered game content this site continue to use my old persona. So how can i link this new persona to this account? And also i have a problem to add a new persona on this email... it can only add an ea screen name or somth like that and i don't have any. So it will be a big problem.

Ok, my Xbox sync works fine but I can't get my PC info to show up on my profile. When I click Online Profile from the game I get the following:

Profile Not Found
The requested player does not have any Dragon Age data uploaded.

I've managed to get 2 of my characters synced but 1 is still missing. All 3 are listed, with no errors, under the BSN Profile Diagnostics section.

I also get no error messages when uploading screenshots from within the game yet they do not appear on my profile. They are also listed in the Profile Diagnostics section.

I wasn't having DLC issues but I did the steps from this thread as suggested by Vaalyah.

Edit: Still get the Profile Not Found error but the syncing seems to be working now.

Evelane, I've created and switched to the new persona (and I have like 3 DAO personas created by the game itself), along with enabled cloud stockage, but still no characters. And if I'm trying to go to the profile from game, I get only "profile not found". Even screenshots stopped downloading correctly - it isn't possible to open them now. =_= And EA support recommended to clean cashe, which also did absolutely nothing... I just don't know what to do anymore.

Just wanted to confirm that shortening the persona name did the trick. I've successfully uploaded a character and I've experienced no side effects so far.

I am having this same problem. I got a new computer and had to reinstall DA Origins. I have played DA2.  I am able to download the main game from Origins, but cannot download any DLC. When I click on "online profile" it says I have no data.

How do I go about shortening the persona name?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have gone and uninstalled DA2, which I did install but never even played. I had some issues with it. I then uninstalled, cleaned out, and then reinstalled DAO. I have 2 errors on my game. One is 1004, which is about the story.xml hasn't been uploaded. However, that is the second problem. My primary problem is that I get the error. I am going to attempt to make a new persona, with EA's help. I'm also going to clear out my cookies, and some other things, for Firefox, and see if that also helps.

*edit* I understand that Jeff and Jesse you are busy. And for that, I apologize. Please do what you need, I will await patiently for your reply to all that needs to be done. In the meantime, though, here's what I've done on my end, and if it helps at all.
1) Uninstalled Dragon Age II (which I only installed, but never played. I had some issues, at the time, with my computer, and the game. And din't realize it was still on my computer. And have since removed it.)
2) Uninstalled, and subsequently reinstalled, and patched Dragon Age Origins. I am going to, at some point fairly soon, add all my mods back into the game, and go from there.
3) Await, patiently, for the changes on my current profile, and then upload. (Meaning, keeping logged off until all is resolved. I know I will be unable to upload anything, but it will give me the chance to play the game, and check out some different things. And have some fun. When I am serious about uploading, start with Character Creator, and going from there.)

I also seem to be having this problem, if either Jesse or Jeff can shorten my DA persona I would appreciate it. I am aware of the risks and am willing to take it.
