Fixed it for me by downloading the 1.05 patch, also downloaded the dlc's manually. Havn't tried with 1.1 yet.

Is anyone still tracking this? I'm getting error 1000. Achievements will upload but screenshots and characters won't upload as it can't find profile.

Yep, not working. This system was always a pain in the ass, I hope they don't use it for DA3.

Same problem here :( I can see my achievments, but no characters. And I guess with Origin working the ea profile site is down for good? At least I can't access it to change this default persona.

Help would be very much appreciated <3

I'm getting exactly the same issue. You have the Steam Ultimate edition too?

 Hi Jeff,

I am having the following problem: Profile Not Found: The requested player does not have any Dragon Age data uploaded

I have installed Dragon Age: Origins on a new pc, and when I try to open my online profile through the game I get the above error (cant access DLCs or anything). I have played dragon age 2 on my old PC before reinstalling the Origins game on the new PC. I see that "shortening the game persona" may solve the issue earlier in the thread, but this has to be done on your side.

Since I m starting the game afresh please do whatever measure necessary to get my profile working with Origins again, I do not care of I lose data.

Thanks

For those of you having problems, did you play Dragon Age 2 before installing Origins?

An issue where people were getting the "Profile not found" error, when trying to sync/view their DA:O data has been fixed. Please try clicking the "sync my profile" link again and let me know if it works or if you are still having problems.

There is still an outstanding issue where if you played Dragon Age II before playing Dragon Age: Origins your profile still may not sync.

I'm having the same issues described by the posters above. There was mention of an issue related to playing DA2 before DAO and I think my problem falls into this bucket. Is my BSN persona permanently screwed up because I played DA2 first? Is it possible to shorten the persona ID?

Yes, the persona is broken if you played DA2 or the DA2 demo first.  You need to PM BioWare staff here to get that fixed up.

That's reassuring, thank you! I sent PMs to Jeff Rousell and Jesse Reid. By the way, Jeff mentioned the following a while back:

I could update the persona name to be shorter but we have not fully tested what the impact of this will be.  You would still be able to play both DA:O and DA2, along with your DLC, however there could be some unexpected errors or strange behavior with your current DA:O save games, DA2 save games or uploaded DA2 character data.

Has anyone experienced the issues he was describing? Also did you notice any issues during your DA2 playthrough after the persona fix?

My account had this persona problem but I do not own DA 2 and cannot test it.  That being said, I did notice some oddities in my DA 1 character profile with regards to screenshot uploading (claiming it's uploaded when it's really not) and some items missing from my characters.

Thanks for the feedback. I am replaying Origins at the moment and will be starting DA2 shortly. Once I get my persona issues fixed, I will update this thread if I notice any oddities in the games.

I played DAO long before DA2 even came out, but I too always get the dreaded "Error 1000 - No characters were found in your online storage." I have the Ultimate Edition on Steam, if that matters. Anyone ever figure out a way to fix this, or are we just S.O.L.? My achievements upload just fine, characters and screenshots will not. When I attempt to upload a screenshot in-game, I get this message: "Unable to access your online profile storage. The account information provided may be invalid." I know for a fact that my account login is accurate, both here (on BSN) and in-game. I'm logged in, DA Updater service is running, I don't have the developer console enabled, etc. None of it seems to matter, no fixes seem to work.

I was in the same boat as you last month. There is a good chance that although you played DAO first, it was DA2 that was activated/synced before DAO, causing BSN to generate a long persona ID. I would send a PM to Jeff Rousell and he will be able to confirm if you have the dreaded persona issue. Jeff was able to resolve my persona issue remotely, and I am now able to sync my characters as well as upload screenshots.

Animositisomina you must have played DAO on a different account then because you suffer from the DA2 persona issue.

If you go here:

https://profile.ea.com/myprofile.do

And then look at the section called "Select A Default Persona". If you have a persona called "DA2_############################" then you suffer from the bug.

How is that possible, though? This is literally the only account I have. I've never had any other account for any BioWare game... and yet I do see a DA2_### persona. I actually have 6 personas listed on that site, though I don't know why. Is that normal to have so many?

Hello Jesse, I think I have that bug as well. I'm not entirely certain. I followed the link you provided and (in addition to the fact that i seem to have 3 different Dragon Age personas - possibly because I have both the collector's edition and the ultimate edition of the game on Origin?) that is also a persona with a very long string of numbers. I cannot be certain that it's indeed DA2 because I cannot see how the beginning of the name, but it stands to reason because there is no other persona that starts with DA2. The question is, then - how do I solve this problem? Can I solve it myself? Do I need to talk to someone? And if so, who?

I've had numerus talks with EA help over the last year and a half since I discovered this problem, via chat, email. phone. I talked to a game specialist who told me he would send the issue to BioWare and that BioWare would contact me. That was in May 2013. No one contacted me since then, and when I tried to contact EA support again, they refused to help, saying that they did all they could and that now I should wait for a response from BioWare. I'm still waiting.

Please tell me there's a solution and that my wait could be over?

Send a PM to Jeff Rousell here on the forum. Apparently, he can help with this bug. I've sent him a PM myself for help with the same issue, though I've not yet received a reply. Hopefully he'll respond eventually.

No luck so far with Jeff, haven't gotten a reply from him. Just wondering: Kallimachus, did you message him as well? And did you get a response?

I did message him yesterday. So far no reply. I'm toying with the idea of messaging Jesse Reid if I don't get a response within a week or so, but I'm a bit hesitant. On the one hand, I want my problem solved (it's been a really long time, after all), on the other, I don't want to harrass people, both for their sakes, and for not being labled as "that guy". It's a bit of a pickle. Not sure what to do.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I understand they're both probably quite busy and receive tons of private messages from other users. Still, I've been trying to get this fixed since 2011 when I first bought the game... so it can be difficult to be patient after all this time.

Hello!

I have contacted EA for a problem I have that is VERY similar to this one. I cannot register my Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition in My Games. It shows only my old Dragon Age Origins - Awakening registered. I lost that disc, and I bought the Ultimate Edition for PC.

When I am playing Dragon Age Origins and go to Profile in the game, then to ONLINE PROFILE, it takes me to the BSN site and I get the message "This user does not have any data uploaded." I have to log in again on the BSN network with my Origin name, and then I get a button on the right in the middle of the screen that says Pattyhap1863's Profile (which is my handle and profile in both the game and on BSN). I can only access my characters and online persona if I click on that button. Is that normal? Do I have to do that every time I want to access the uploaded characters I have??

Also, I uploaded two characters 5 and 6 days ago, but it is NOT uploading the one that I'm currently playing. I change equipment and save my game, but when I check, my character is NOT there.

I have contacted EA help and they called. The person who I talked to put me on hold. Then when this person returned, he put me on hold again saying that he had to talk to his supervisor. Then he came back and told me he was going to transfer me to someone who knows about the game, but after he put me on hold and waiting for ten minutes, the phone went dead. In other words, my call was dropped!

My case number is 14882643. My handle on my game and on EA and on BSN is Pattyhap1863. I hope someone will be able to help me out, because I am getting very frustrated with all this! :(
