I'm dealing with the same problem what everyone has over here lately. "Profile Not Found: The requested player does not have any Dragon Age data uploaded" and "Error Code 1000 - No characters were found in your online storage" so seeing these last posts, I suppose the only thing we can do right now is to wait for Jeff.

Hey guys I was having this same exact problem.  I had to re-install Patch 1.05 and as you play each character it will re-upload the character as you play them individually.  This seems to be the best fix.  At least my characters are uploading. :)

Many of us have the game on Steam and we cannot use that patch. Also, that patch doesn't do anything to fix the issue we're having anyhow. The problem we're having stems from an issue with "persona" names and the one for DA2 being too long. I'm not really clear on the technical side of it but that seems to be the gist of it. The patch on the other hand simply corrects an issue with DLC authorization.

I followed the link that Jesse posted on the previous page, and I definitely have the long DA2 person issue as well. Did anyone experience issues after having it fixed? I'm almost tempted to leave it alone if shortening it is just going to cause more problems.

Having it shortened is what *fixes* the problem... but none of us can do it ourselves, we need a BioWare employee to do it for us.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. But someone who had theirs 'shortened' said that afterwards they had issues with their saved games, and some of their items disappeared from their characters and stuff like that. Jeff Rousell from Bioware posted that shortening the profile can cause unexpected issues and errors. I would like to know whether most people have experienced issues, because I might decide to just leave it alone. Here's Jeff's original post:

@OdanUrr & @Logan Track - You both have the same issue of the persona name generated by DA2 is too long for DA:O to work correctly.

I could update the persona name to be shorter but we have not fully tested what the impact of this will be.  You would still be able to play both DA:O and DA2, along with your DLC, however there could be some unexpected errors or strange behavior with your current DA:O save games, DA2 save games or uploaded DA2 character data.

I see; I wasn't aware of that. He does say "could" be errors, not that there definitely would be... but still. I suppose it is a bit risky, then.

odd that it would affect your save games. The BSN doesnt send any info back to the game.

I had mine shortened a few weeks ago. All my items in-game are accounted for. I haven't seen any issues so far (played about 10 hours since then), but in case I do I will report back here.

Whom did you talk to / sleep with / bribe with cookies to have it shortened?

Despite following every step. I also have issues with my characters not showing up, nor updating. It's frustrating as hell

It looks like Jeff was on yesterday and posted this personal status message:

Sorry if I don't respond to your message right away. I have a quite a large number of messages coming in lately requesting help with DAO character syncing.

So at least we know he's aware that people are trying to get in touch with him. There's still hope, folks.

Haha, I was one of the fortunate few to get a reply from Jeff on 8/19. Once he started working on my profile, everything was sorted in a few hours (I had to wait to get out of work and verify a few things for Jeff in-game).

Poor Jeff must be swamped with all the requests to fix the persona issues. Don't worry though.. I was at PAX 2 weeks ago and one of the online devs at the Bioware base mentioned that all of these syncing issues will definitely be resolved before the Keep goes public.

I wouldn't trust that Justin guy. :) We are working on a more permanent solution that won't require us to manually fix all the broken accounts one at a time.

The DA2 bug does not affect DA2 characters, only DAO characters. Supposedly it is created by having registered DA2 before DAO, although that is not the case for me, and I still seem to have that bug.

Haha it was indeed Justin who mentioned that. He seemed quite confident it would be fixed ^_^

Justin mentioned that all these problems started cropping up when the online infrastructure was overhauled for Dragon Age 2. I can only imagine how hard it must have been porting all the content over and sorting out all the issues! Really appreciate the work you guys are putting into this endeavor and can't wait for the permanent solution :)

For me neither. I had DA when it first came out.

Repost from another topic:

I played Origins about a year ago, and played a whole play through, as a dwarf noble.I came into the BSN, and sync my accounts to find I had no data of that play through only my past, as a Dalish Elf.I didn't really care to much because I could always just use the Promo Character Creator to remake him, but the real problem is I'm even missing some of my achievement data from that play through, but I have all of it still on my PSN. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me? I would re-upload the character, but I'm now on PS4, so I have no way of doing that anymore.

I will also say that my friend KnightmareHell is having the same problem, his City Elf he made never showed up, and he had to make a Promo Character with the Creator to replace him, and a lot of his achievements have also disappeared.

So the only thing we can do with our characters and screenshots not appearing (I have the same issue it seems, as I have only DAO achievements but not my chars) is wait? I also have 6(!) personas on my ea account I even didn't know existed O_o

That's a little bit frustrating.

so i guess i'm a little bit confused on what the issue is (after scanning the topic). i don't have a DA_2 persona, but i noticed my most frequent character i created isn't showing up on my character profile (i'm guessing it should be http://social.biowar...m/playerprofile right?)

I see it updated just today, and i still don't see my newest character i created last week.  is this something else entirely? or is it involving what's in this topic right now?

I guess i have 12 characters loaded on my 360 profile. should i delete some? just curious if there's a max or not
