This sounds pretty much exactly how it goes. Their stupid-strong Hornets kill me much more than their melees, and it is - unbelievably - worse than the Phantom cannon.
A single Smash with rank 6 armor damage can kill two dragoons in silver (limited to two enemies per use otherwise can kill more).

yeah..it seems this is an issue...i specifically have my destroyer built with high shields and health and shield mods, and i'm still being ripped like the lesser characters.

It's because the Scions do 3000+ damage per shot with an electrical attribute aka disruptor rounds, hitting shield gate, then health gate, then breaking health gate and killing you regardless of circumstances.Clips7 wrote...

Didn't they do that a few months ago with one of the weenend challenges? I remember joining a random game on Glacier and there WERE a husk horde! Was scarry...in a funny way! They just kept on swarming us in the dozens!

Silver is still easy, you probably would need a disciple or a claymore.
Gold is fine and platinum could be even harder for my state; for starters add the goddamn collectors to other enemies rotation. I want to see possessed scions and praetorians spawning with other factions.

I honestly don't really care what one who finds platinum a pushover thinks about the balance of the game. That is exactly why I kept the top tier difficulty the same, for the elitist people to be able to continue their xxxxmeasuring contests.
I don't have über skills in this game, I don't have über reflexes. But for me this game revolves around the fun to play the game and unlock the new weapons to take them for a spin and unlock the next. At the moment the unlocking mechanism is fracked up unless you can somewhat routinely finish gold.
Maybe if I wasn't playing in pugs the diffiulty would be a lot easier. But honestly, in multiplayergame such as this, that doesn't revolve around competition and is based on a single player franchise the balance for the majority needs to be centered on the pugs and non HC people. Not on a small subset of people who will never be satisfied with the difficulty because everything will always end up as to easy for them. Since in the end you aren't fighting geniusses you know, it are only bots.
But for most, the reason why they are playing this multiplayer game, and why they have played ME3 has been because they where the hero or would become the hero... And this should be an integral part of the multiplayer.
Instead of trying to emulate the nth copycat of battlefield.
