If you see that as me 'destroying your last hope', that's your call, but the alternative is to lie and say 'maybe we'd do it!', and I'm pretty sure you'd be excorciating me were I to do that. So I guess the lesson here is 'some people will criticize anything' in which case, fair enough.

I was just a little disappointed as that was the only way i could see to get some of the origins back.

Hate to burst your bubble, but they've said pretty flatly that we will probably not get a toolset. It's not a 0% chance... but seems pretty unlikely.

Oh I dont care about race choice, was just offering advice. Even without a toolset thougy there are a lot of mods for DA2

Gosh just reading the responses toward the devs on this thread makes me feel like the BSN is full of buttholes... and I hate Day 1 DLC.

If they did this, I would be suprememly upset.

However, if there was a dlc/expansion pack that played as a side story to Inquisition and let you play as a human, dwarf, elf or kossith character that helps the Inquisitor behind the scenes or unlocks a special item or something, that would be a little more interesting.

They aren't using the engine for DA2 anymore, so it's unlikely the game will even allow for modding at all.

All PC games are moddable ... eventually. Never underestimate the community.

...I dont think there have been many games over the years that have ever really 'allowed' for modding...
