Are the Bioware games Mass Effect and Dragon Age Windows 8 compatible ?

Can't say about ME, but DAO (and DA2) loads and plays fine in my Preview Copy of Win8! 
Since they have different game engines, there's no way to take the results from one and apply them to the other.
(Saying they're both BioWare games is like saying a Volt and a Tahoe are both Chevy's.)

Indeed. As to ME games (a bit off topic here, but this will probably come up in searches, so...), Mass Effect runs on the Unreal Engine 3, which Epic games has said works fine on both Win 8 and Win RT.

But unless EA starts selling games through the Microsoft Store, players won't be able to load ME on a WindowsRT device!RaenImrahl wrote...
